Best Korean barbecue restaurant in Singapore

M	Mira Monaco on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been to Tanjong Hwaro twice already and their bbq is very legit. Their charcoal style Korean bbq is so delicious. Also I had their naengmyeon (K-cold noodles), marinated pork ribs lunch set and Doenjang jjigar (K-soybean pasta soup ) and it was just perfect. Highly recommended for lunch specials and their bbq! And they have Soju and beer set for the reasonable price!
R	Ryan G. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Reserved a table for the weekend around 4pm. Arrived and warmly greeted, placed seemed not full at this hour (wondered if i needed to reserve in advance even). Anyway, people slowly came in to almost 2 tables left empty. The place is cozy, and their bbq grill is clean. Service is friendly, and prompt. We ordered a standard small pork set and a chicken, coupled with their makkoli. Serving of various side dishes were excellent and the kimchi is noteworthy. As for the pork set, it is very good - cut of meat was thick and amount of fat to lean-meat is not too much. The attendant to our table was attentive to the bbqing (he practically cooked every meat and served us). Exhaust suction is also good enough to vacuum out the smoke while bbqing. Our expectations based on the past reviews here were met. Pricing wise, it is very comparable to the surrounding restaurants (i find the makkoli on a slightly high price, but other alcoholic drinks have a good promo though). I recommend this place, because it is clean and waiters are well-mannered and good in bbqing.
v	vincent mark on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friend & I decided to try Beef set A & SOMAEK BUCKET (1 soju + 2 beers) .The quantity for the set worth the price. Their strong point is the beef is very juicy which I like. Overall, the quality & quantity of the foods is on par.
A	Alexander Reinaldo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice food and very friendly professional server. They will help you do the bbq, all you need to do is choose the food and eat! The seafood pancakes also not bad, we have 2 rounds of it. Howeve, place quite small and easily get noisy and crowded at nights.
M	Me T on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I reluctantly give 4 stars because the room is pretty cooling even with 10 tables BBQing but service wise, it isn't the best, the staff seemed to be avoiding my table or something, maybe because my Indian friend or something, a korean couple sat after us but got served first. Food was good, not the best, steamed egg was more on the cooked side, seafood pancake wasn't very crispy, pork was good but not the best, I couldn't really tell the cheaper beef apart from the pork ?. Sides were good. Price was pretty expensive, $80 per pax and it's just for the mid tier pork set. If I had gotten beef it would've been so much more expensive and the ingredients wouldn't have been much.
D	Deon Lim on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the more popular Korean food joint along the street. TH serves really good Korean bbq food and cuisine. We had beer soju set $30+, meat platter, fried chicken and seafood pancake. Other than the fried chicken, the rest were delightful and worth a try. Fried chicken is average, maybe because it is too thick and the crumbs to meat ratio is not right. Overall, a good find and worth a visit!
A	Asturias on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My partner and I decided to try this Korean BBQ place among the others. We ordered Galbisal prime beef short rib and the 250g spicy chicken. Both meats were well-seasoned and full flavoured. The seasoning/marinades felt authentic and delicious. We also love the chunky sausages which were 3 for $6. It has a wonderful flavour when charcoal grilled, so much that we didn’t even mind the staff who grilled it burnt it a little. As it was super hot when we got in, we were able to cool down quickly in the restaurant’s air conditioning. We also ordered a cold noodle though we very much prefer the broth for the cold noodle offered by the Korean restaurant at Bras Basah.
S	Seref Isler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice and very tasty. My only criticism is that meats were a bit expensive. But I like that they have fried chicken and seafood pancake on top of the barbecue options for variety. We had beer and soju too, which makes any barbecue fun.
