โ โ โ โ โ Decent good food. Got the grilled chicken salad. The onion blossom is amazing. My friends got vongole pasta and the salted egg chicken pasta. We had an enjoyable time there. Not super crowded that day as it was raining. Halal certified!!

โ โ โ โ โ Hands down a pretty awesome dining experience here at Tenderbest Makcik Tuckshop! One of the must orders has got to be the onion blossom ($6.90). A whole onion battered and fried. The batter reminds me of the batter used for fried chicken, but you also get the sweetness of the onion, and a little bit of tang from the accompanying honey mustard sauce. You can also get some grilled chicken salad ($6.90) to start your meal, which comes with some pretty tender chicken. For my main I got the CMP, the chicken mushroom and pesto pasta ($9.90). The pieces of chicken were tender, but I wasn't sure where the pesto was. In fact, it came in a creamy gravy, and I wondered if my order became a carbonara dish instead.

โ โ โ โ โ A cosy ambience, more of a cafe in a rather secluded industrial area.
There are interesting drinks, though it is very sweet which I had to add more ice. Great presentation.
Chicken skin is great and went well with the Thai chili sauce.
Salted egg wings were passable as they were quite soggy. The salted egg sauce had a burnt smell to it.
Cheesy mushroom was a great appetizer and flavors were wonderful. Downside being very oily.
Buffalo wings was another soggy item. The BBQ sauce was rich and flavorful.
Grilled salmon was average at best.
Signature chicken chop was definitely not crispy as advertised. I asked for mustard sauce which was like a mix of mustard and condensed milk. Interesting combi.
Teriyaki chicken burger was very small with a thin slice of chicken. Does not represent good value for what you paid for. BBQ sauce was good but I would skip this.
Fish and chips was another oily dish. Crispy and fresh.
Coleslaw was very good and fries was over-salted.
The staff are friendly and the spaciousness was great. Some hits and misses. I wished they would go light on their sugar and salt.

โ โ โ โ โ Parking is limited along, so better to park at opposite HDB and cross over. There's no washroom should one have too much drink. It is crowded during the peak hours, best to avoid either go early or latter. We like the food and taste delicious.

โ โ โ โ โ Self order and collect. Ambience was nice. No crowd at 2pm. Good place to dine with kids. Spacious. Food was generous. But a lil strong taste for me. ?

โ โ โ โ โ Went on Sunday lunch time and there is no crowd. Shop is clean and air cond is nice. Food is above expectation. We order chicken chop, salted egg pasta, nasi lemak and bosom onion. Price is reasonable, considering no GST and Service charge.

โ โ โ โ โ Felt as thought I was transported back in time to my secondary school western food store here. Tenderbest has great and interesting dishes that would appeal to all - fusion pasta, Tom yum chicken ?! Iโm sold haha. I had their laksa prawn pasta, Tom yum chicken and the popular onion bloom. Food was good, extremely affordable and I left extremely stuffed. Located in a funny industrial area though, maybe to cater more for the work folks and neighbourhood crowd.

โ โ โ โ โ A gem thatโs nested in a slightly out of the way location - serving up really good halal food ??
? the garlic bread was more like a French toast style variant, albeit still tasting really fragrant
? the onion blossom is a must order, especially if you are coming here in a group of 4 and above - considering it does get pretty jelard after downing it over and over
? the crispy skin chicken chop was great! The plate itself came with a generous portion of fries, coleslaw and garlic bread too - definitely filling on its own
Would definitely consider this place a good hideout to chill and have a nice meal overall ?
