β β β β β Nasi goreng wasn't like nasi goreng....I think they forgot to goreng my white rice properly...tasteless. We ordered aglio olio pasta and it was super oily and some sambal was mixed in it...I am not sure what was it but we had a very bad experience. I hope they can respect customers who are paying money for the food. Paid $30 for bad food and drinks. 1/5

β β β β β Ordered a variety of food which looked appealing but the taste is a huge disappointment. The aglio olio pasta noodles were overcooked and soggy. The calamari was the worst out of all, it was not even calamari. It was disguised as cheap fish cake. Never had my taste buds been exposed to such atrocity. Will not patronise again. Probably only if i had COVID and have lost my sense of taste then i will eat this.

β β β β β Once upon a time at the old marsiling bus interchange. They used to serve the best halal zhi char dishes. Lots of their dishes was a go to order especially their lemon chicken, mee bandung, tom yum and many more.
However, after expanding their business. Everything goes down the drain. ????? Their quality of food is terrible and they mark up the prices exhorbitantly. For example, their curry chicken with rice. They used to serve it on a claypot with lots of vegetables in it and also a fried egg. And the umami taste they added in it. Probably dried shrimp or some sorts.
But now, not at all any veges in the dish and no more fried egg. Plus the taste is different and the gravy is watery like the longkang behind your house. For a price close to $10, you expect decent quality food is served. But noooo. You get sub par food.
Seriously Yassin, how do you sleep at night? You once serve good quality dishes but now.... tsk tsk tsk.
SUPER DISSAPOINTING.

β β β β β The last time I dine-in was before covid, the food was tasty. I decided to visit again few days ago, as I missed the food. My friends ordered fried eggs to add to their food, but they overlooked, this is fine because we understand that the situation is chaos.
Beef hor fun was very salty. Ordered the platter, the powder thats sprinkled on top of food is salty. The fish cake that look like onion ring was salty and not tasty. The tempura prawn is weird and not tasty, because it is a combination of prawn and fish cake, the taste is disappointing. Plate of fishcakes with chicken cost $15! Maybe they want to try make food fancy, but it gone all wrong.
I ordered orange juice, the sugar was too much, it killed the original taste of orange, instead taste like orange cordial syrup. I returned the juice, to ask for new one with less sugar (the glass is still full), instead it came back to me with the same drink and the waiteress told me to add plain water into the orange juice myself!!!!!!! I have never encounter such service before.
Have your staffs tasted such sweet drink before? Do you think its proper to ask the customer to add plain water into the drink? Why would I order orange juice in the 1st place? I might as well order orange cordial syrup drink where I add my own plain water to adjust the sweetness.
You serve food just for the sake of serving, with no passion, no point.

β β β β β I ordered their take aways through Grab Food. Their take away package are very well packed with each bento all properly labelled.
They have wide variety of bentos and their chilli is nice.
Many of my colleagues enjoyed the food. Will consider ordering from them again.

β β β β β The place was nice and ambience was good. The place is kept well maintained too. There is a large variety of food and great options for everyone (of any age).
We went during a peak period and they forgot to delivery a starter to us but eventually rushed the order in. But overall the place is definitely very family friendly and fast service to customer.

β β β β β I usually go to the one at Marsiling. The dishes were cooked better there. This is our first time dining at the Admiralty outlet. Ordered a set meal for two which cost $48 and we added the Sambal Lala. Total was $88 inclusive service charge due to the Chinese New Year festive season.
I was expecting a restaurant quality food but some dishes were a let down. The Bbq Sambal Stingray was not grilled hence lacked the char and smokiness. Although the fish was cooked well the sambal did not have the punch that I was looking for (I had plenty of this dish in my lifetime and this did not do it for me).
The Salted Egg Fried Chicken was soggy as it soaked the gravy which I could not taste the salted egg at all.
The Stir Fried Kailan was alright and quite tasty. It was fresh but lacked finesse. I got a leaf the size of my palm. Baby Kailan would be a better choice.
The Seafood Tomyam was spicy and sour. Loved the tingling on my palate. But the squid and prawn were overcooked. :(
The only saviour dish was Lala. Lala has always been my favourite and this dish did not disappoint me.
There are other variety of dishes in the menu but I am not too sure if I am going here again anytime soon.
The staff were polite and the restaurant does look really nice. But the foodβ¦.meh.

β β β β β Service is a bit on the slow side given there more staff than customers. But overall $8 for pepper chicken with white rice, tomyam soup (kinda) and a lime juice. Itβs okay with the environment. If commenting on the food alone, Iβd prefer hawker food which is prob more tasty.
