Great tasting food at reasonable prices. The warm ambience, freshness of the ingredients, and richness of flavors threw me back to the meals I've had in Hokkaido. Overall a wonderful experience which I look forward to again in the future.

21 Sep 2020 - dine-in for 1 person at 3pm, Post Circuit Breaker Phase 2. 3 stars. The food standard at this outlet pales in comparison to what I had at the Suntec outlet. My tendon bowl was generally tasty but with varying degrees of thickness of the batter for each different ingredient in the bowl - the batter on the squid and prawns was thicker compared to the other items. Luckily the battered ingredients remained slightly crispy on the outside throughout the meal. Generally the batter should be thinner than what I had on this occasion. The flavour of the baby corn also didn't go well with the rest of the items in the bowl as the woody/raw taste was rather strong. Other ingredients included: real crab stick, shiitake mushroom, long beans, and pumpkin. I always ask for no chicken and may also have to ask for no corn next time. The yuzu pickled daikon was a good palate cleanser at the end as there's always not enough rice in the bowl to go with all the deep fried ingredients. Ok but not super friendly service here. As I went to the restroom at the back of the restaurant, I also noticed that the floor of the corner of the kitchen/restaurant wasn't very well-kept/clean.

NOBODY inside but yet insisting that I need to have my friend arrived before letting me sit down… my friend was reaching in 5min and if someone else needed the sit I would let them have it instead, if there was a queue or only 2-3 seats left I understand but there was literally NOBODY inside… EMPTY!! the lady was really unhelpful and rigid. Seriously not worth the time to visit this shop.

Nice food as expected. But Friday evening are staffed with only 2 ladies, a little shorthanded. Kitchen looks a little run down, some clean up and touch up would make it look a lot more presentable given it's open kitchen concept.

Not much queue on a Saturday evening. Decent food, quick service, comfortable and stress-free.

Visited the same branch for the second time during sat lunch hours before phase 2 HA. Enjoyed the food as always, the best ever had at SG. There is a neaeby branch at clarky quay central as well. Personally still love this branch as after the meal can have a walk along clark quay riverside.

Randomly walk in for dinner. Thier signature tendon was abit disappointing, the batter was not fragrant enough, the sauce was not enough. But thier Truffle version was really good. They should have put a fried running egg yolk egg as default. Not as add on. Plus the egg they served doesnt look like the one on photo. Is more like fried poach egg instead of boiled egg. They do serve reasonable price beer.

3.5 stars really. pretty decent tendon, better than most of others in the mall. very good seafood tempura and decent vegetable ones. They put a bit too much sauce on the rice, so the rice tastes a bit salty as a result.
