Located inside a high-end food court and I visited it on Monday and as such it was supercrowded everywhere.
Fortunately just beside this outlet is a rather cosy sit- down area for all patrons of the food court which comprise mainly
white collar workers of Shenton Way.
I ordered their signature Kaisendon with extra top up Unagi together with salad and green tea. Their homemade secret sauce was indeed special to my taste buds.You need to try it once to understand what I mean. It was priced attractively at $22.80 for a meal of such standard which may seem a little expensive for the average office worker to spend but then we ought to give a treat to ourselves once in a while.

β β β β β I really enjoyed the Signature Kaisendon with additional unagi and the salad set that comes with Ayataka green tea! Most importantly, the ingredients (raw tuna, scallop, salmon, etc) were FRESH! and the sauce was not too sweet. A good balance! Glad I ordered the additional unagi as well that gave the dish an added texture! I ordered the salad to ensure my veggie intake and you can never go wrong with green tea. This is definitely one of the better sashimi rice bowls at this price! (less than $25 for the whole set!)

β β β β β A great Japanese place for my salmon fix! Had the set meal which came with chicken karaage and green tea! Also a special mention to the wasabi which I thought was very unique as it gave the dish a new dimension of flavour! The staff were also very helping in explaining the differences of item on the menu! Would definitely visit again during my ljnch time β‘Μ

β β β β β Just horrible. Ordered a hamburg curry and served only after 25min during lunch time. The hamburg was completely burned and onside was not edible while inside was somehow cold. Curry was quite cold as it hasnβt been warmed since last night. Lack of minimum professionalism as a F&B outlet. Counter staff was friendly.

β β β β β The Kaisendon has a variety of fresh sashimi, flowers in a combo set which comes with chicken karaage and a cup of green tea makes the meal extremely filling and affordable. Would recommend to go for the spicy option as the flavors went very well together. Overall it was a great portion and was worth every penny spent!

β β β β β Had the $16 kaisendon, so portion wise Iβd say itβs reasonable.
Would have given 3 stars rating but because itβs $16 in a foodcourt setting, and the store wanted to charge 50cents for more sauce/wasabi. I look down on such businesses (aside from hawker) that wants to charge for extra sauce.
The rice was totally white and only the fishes was washed in the soy sauce. Overall taste quite plain.

β β β β β My rating for the Unagi. It is soft, look like perhaps steam cook before final grill. The cats are just right for flavour and texture. Complimented very well with their accompanied soft rice.
Had a take away.
Recommended.
