I'm not afraid to say this but the reason why it is getting one star is because they don't accept tracetogether tokens in their establishment. I don't know if it is because the waitress was Vietnamese or simply not familiar with the norms for Singaporeans here but it is a big letdown in my books. Please get the technology to do this rather than rely on your customers to download the app because it reeks of a lack of care and service excellence.

Great food. Fantastic value. Chill ambience. Friendly staff. Good selection of booze and grub. There's honestly very little to not like at this friendly neighborhood joint that is decidedly local and relaxed, yet has that slight bustle you'd expect of a shophouse row on the edge of a well known nightlife district. That said, it is on the clearly residential and fast gentrifying end of that nightlife district and surrounded by well maintained conservation shophouses for a fantastic heritage vibe - but with a respectable contemporary food selection including Japanese yakitori, burgers and pasta. Matched with beers on tap and a good alcohol list. Oh and the prices are very good. Especially when you factor in that you get about 50% more on each plate compared to the CBD! Highly highly recommended.

Great place to chill out. Great decoration and layout of the restaurant. Nice environment. Loved the beer and finger food especially the skewers. The skewers were cooked to perfection. Tried the different type of fries, simply good. The service was excellent. The staffs were friendly and approachable. Strongly recommended!

A bistro bar concepts that sells comfort food and sumiyaki skewers on an all-day operations Had myself the Beefballs Arrabiatta. Beefballs was made in-house and it is mouth-watering and juicy the moment you bite them. Arrabbiata was alright with the Linguine pasta. The only downfall of this dish is that it is abit too greasy. Most likely the amount of oil cooked to the dish was a bit too much. Or else it could have been a perfect pasta dish. Yakitori Platter was value for money, $12 for 10pieces is definitely a steal and generous serving in term of the meat portions. Only comment is that the liver was abit undercooked for me and it gives a very repulsive outcome once you start chewing them. They provide a selection of puff pasties there too. I love the raisin puff pastries. Buttery good made of heaven with good generous amount of raisins in it. Overall, still a great place to hang out with friends without having a big hole on your pocket.

I think the food is a little pricey for the quality of food served. Standard is kinda normal. Don’t expect a balls blowing experience here pls. Staff is chirpy though. Got potential to do well in sales. I think among the mains only the soft shell crab burger is not too bad. The batter abit too much though. A crazy friend of mine ordered a vege platter as well…walao face palm sia knn… waste my money chao turtle..i alr kinda knew what was coming but she say wanna fit into wedding gown in the coming wks..媽蛋…stay home and eat salad la. Anw i don’t exactly highly recc this place unless u got no place to go in this crowded area of Geylang.

We came here for brunch today and had a really bad experience. The food was awful; the toast with the avocado toast was stale and dry, the waffles with the chicken and waffle dish were rock hard. The waitress laughed at the quality of the food before bringing us the full bill. On top of this we were charged for tap water! After voicing our issues again we were made to sit and wait for almost half an hour before being offered just a 10% discount. We would strongly suggest avoiding the brunch here as we were very disappointed with the service and food.

Nice place to grab a pint after a meal, which is exactly what I did yesterday (Sunday evening). Cozy place with a relaxed vibe, indoor and outdoor seating, friendly and helpful staff, and a secret bathroom (an unmarked door on the back of the building). I didn’t eat there - but the menu has a lot to offer with vegetarian options for many of the dishes. They also do brunch. The beverage I enjoyed was a Jing A Brewing Company Worker’s Pale Ale. The brewery describes it as “A pick-me-up for the Beijing working man (or woman), featuring fresh notes of grapefruit and pine resin, moderate hop bitterness and a backbone of pale and specialty malts.” Yes, a bitter ale that landed well on my pallet. On the way out I saw a salted margarita glass and the bartender was busy slicing limes, so there is a temptation to return and enjoy a cocktail or two.

Even though we came on a Friday evening, there wasn't a crowd, which makes it feels comfortable. Tried the Cauliflower Steak and it was grilled deliciously, however it's not worth the price, considering it's literally grilled cauliflower. The french fries were also quite yummy. The staff were nice and provided good service.
