It was my husband's birthday; I planned a surprise for him and all the staffs and the chef himself understood the assignment. Excellent food, excellent staff & excellent service. All round 100% Will come back again!!

Went there for break fast with my other half. Overall choices of food is good. Theres fish, meat, chicken, seafood, veges, sotong ball, otak paste and a lot more that you can keep asking from the server. We chose the Mala and Collagen soupbase. The varieties of food is pleasing. Overall taste was average. The Mala is not the kind that will burn your lips. Collagen soup could be a little bit saltier. Basically its just steamboat with some peanut sauce that i believe uses peanut butter, some green thai sauce and chilli. Theres this crabcake that i tasted and it was not that pleasing as i think they uses chilli sauce from bottle and the vinegar just makes me turn off. The fried rice average as well. The desserts are mediocre taste. I think the durian puffs was nice. Other than that its just a Halal Steamboat in a hotel.

They got it almost all wrong. Very disappointed with the expectation I had. To start, the soup base of a steamboat is actually the most important. Ordered the collagen (extra $9) and the mala. The Mala is simply terrible. Taste awful. Collagen soup nothing special. Taste like peppery vegetable MSG soup. There were quite a number of items that are not available but are shown on the menu at the website. Don’t think it’s very fair for the customers. To add on, there is very little variety. Meat, seafood very limited. Ordered some of their lamb and beef. Both have very strong frozen stale smell and taste. Seafood scallops were small and hard. Prawns and fish were fresh though. With the little variety, we had to order some cooked food. Tried the fried rice. They mentioned “wok hei” fried rice. Come on! No wok hei taste at all. Anyone can cook better fried rice than that. Some of the cooked items stated were also not available. Service was on the average side. The setting and ambience of the restaurant was quite ok. That’s the only thing that makes you feel comfortable. Overall, if you want a comfortable place with awful soup base, awful cooked food and very little uncooked food variety, this is the place for you. It’s not worth it to make your trip there.

Have been coming regularly over the last 10 years for their hotpot when they used to serve chilli crab but now they dun. Live drunken prawns are still avail but tbh, the way they serve out their buffet items has deteriorated since they recently opened again after covid. They will serve up the first round of food items (without allowing customers to choose) and subsequently can still order again. But a lot of food goes to waste as we did not eat/like all the food which was served up during the first round. Durian pengat was not avail too. Will not recommend visiting until a few years later when we can go back to picking what we like to eat for steamboat buffet?

2nd time since 2 weeks ago. This time, I came back with 6 family members to feast on Father's Day! I must say, its affordable while its still on promotion price with nice ambience though. Definitely, friendly staffs and worth to mention Yusuf, Iffa and Parth.. their eyes as sharp as an eagle and keep doing their part without even being prompt at. Mr Boz which is the Boss, even socialise with their customers. Glad I came to this place. Thank you 'The Buffet'! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It's a novel idea of having Chinese styled steamboat buffet with halal ingredients. Definitely promoting racial harmony. Generous portions of ingredients. The collagen soup tastes good. Mala not spicy enough but still quite tasty. Desserts are assorted. Overall standard still good enough for me to bring my muslim friends for steamboat.
