. And the assam fishhead definitely didn't disappoint. Will definitely be back!

β β β β β I have been here perhaps more than 10 times and in terms of quality and service, it has been deteriorating consistently over the last couple of years. Quality is decent but quantity has been so dismally reduced even though its not exactly cheap. The packet of take away sambal fried rice is not even half full for the container. To complete the experience, you have to be served by a lady that gives you a dirty look as if you are asking for free food from them. This will be my last time at this place after so many chances

β β β β β The seafood fried rice and Hor Fun was good but the prawn paste chicken tasted different from the last time I tried it so I'm guessing they changed the recipe but the original recipe was much better, the staff were friendly and the food came quite fast as we only ordered 3 dishes. I will recommend this place to those who live around the place as the food is typical Zi Char food and there are many restaurants across Singapore that serve the same Zi Char.

β β β β β Self service cafe but I like the simple set up. Donβt expect service like a restaurant for the value price you are getting. My favorite is the mee goreng. Well cooked in the traditional way... sometimes I feel it has a tinct of Malaysia style, which I like. The other one I tried is the black hokkien mee. Also a must try if you come here.

β β β β β The service is super bad. When I inform the counter lady that I have 7 pax, 4 adults and 3 kids, she bluntly reply β沑ζδ½β. Okieβ¦ so I went to see if there is any queue but none. Then I wait around for a table to be empty. When we got a seat, I sat my child down and went to take a menu to order food. Then the same lady rudely shouted βθ¦ηΉθδΊζη»δ½β. By then, another group just walk to the counter to order food right before me, meaning they will assign the table that I waited and sat , to them, after I have waited for the seat for a while. In the first place, the lady could have just let me know that I need to order first and I could have ordered while waiting. In then end, I left as my child really need to have dinner. Will never ever go back again. Service level of the counter lady is way freaking bad.

β β β β β the food is average. I couldnβt stand the service by the lady behind the counter. her kancheong-ness (no one else is in queue), rude and impolite annoys me, jus spoils my meal. She didnβt even bother to walk around to serve us the meal but jus serve us over the cupboard?.

β β β β β Very good curry fish head and outstanding zichar dishes. Highly recommended if youβre in the area. Parking is difficult on weekends so be warned.

β β β β β The food taste good! We had the Curry dice chicken rice add egg, and the black pepper beef add egg! ? The price is very reasonable for the quantity and quality. Would love to try more of their other dishes another time.
The place can get a little crowded and seemed to be under staff. But do give them some patience and they will still service decently :)
