★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Formerly known as the Lost Ark of Singapore, The Deck has become it's official name. Not far from the rail corridor, a beautiful place to visit. Easier entry point via the colonial era private estate south of the location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the more unmarked hiking trails in Singapore. Interesting spot and possibly one of the few places where you can claim to be truly one with nature.
Directions (we realised that there is more than one path leading to The Deck, so l’d reckon if you’re adventurous enough, you could just bash thru)
This was what we did:
From the rail corridor, Walk towards Hang Jebat Mosque (will see a water cooler outside the mosque) >> walk towards the entrance and you will see a small field with one of those white and black houses. There is a small but inconspicuous opening >> that is the entrance
The trees are not trimmed so a lot of bending and walking at the start. Continue walking and you may find yourself at a split path, choose the one on the left. And continue walking before you will find yourself in an open area. If after walking for 5 mins, you’re still well shaded by the trees, you probably have to head back to the split junction and take the other path.
Continue walking and you’ll find The Deck!
We went after a heavy downpour the night before so the whole area was very muddy and swampy. And, there were a lot of starving mosquitoes. Put loads of insect repellent!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hiked to the Deck, or Lost Ark of Singapore, this Saturday. We got there through Rail Corridor at Alexandra. Walking through a tree tunnel, a large open area appeared, tall grasses, a couple footpaths, a pond on the far left hand side, and the Deck in the middle of it at the far end. The deck was made from two large fallen tree trunks, a perfect accent to this greenery oasis! The jungle at the Deck is a real wilderness, a great place to explore and adventure if one is prepared for bug bites.
