β€œHOTPLATE” Go at your risk , doesn’t worth the price for the hot plate , order braised chicken end up look like steam chicken, noodles is so soggy don’t look like the photo stated crispy noodles . Feel cheated. #disappointed #notworth

I'm a regular in this place. At least 3 to 4 times a week to have lunch or dinner. But recently the price shoot up like nobody business...so sad. E.g. Halim fish soup one of my favorite stall. Usually cost around $6.90 for tomyam fried fish with rice after discount but now $9.00 before discount...wow what a shock. Today purchase yong tau fu also counted wrongly. 7 pcs plus rice they charge me $9.70. OMG. I hope the management look into this matter seriously. The Yong Tau Fu stall is the worst charge. Incident happened today on 11/07/2023 @ around 1300 hrs serve by a Chinese woman which i seldom see her working at this stall.

Beware of YTF stall.. Overcharging and refused to check. I've been ordering the same few items weekly (6 items + noodle) and it's usually around $7 thereabouts for takeaway. Last Sat, I was charged $9.70 and the cashier insisted that I ordered 10 items. She refused to check and I just paid since I was in a hurry. Will boycott this stall from now on.

There is a wide range of cuisine available. The chicken rice is flavor full and chicken is tender. Pineapple fried rice is tasty. For the next visit, I'm going to try rojak and satay.

Really had a heavy heart to review but was told that the Hokien mee had to wait very long so opted for char kway teow with cockles which was told by the cashier it will be faster. An uncle behind me get to order hokien mee out of sudden. Bought the 6.80 but received small pieces of 08nos of small tiny cockles. Cant imagine how much would the 5.80 have?

Ayam penyet stall, worst ayam penyet ever tasted. Not to exaggerate but the chicken is super dry, soup is not hot. Was expecting a juicy crispy ayam penyet but very disappointing, dry and overcooked chicken and overpriced for the quality of the food

New stall at the food market! Haig Road Putu Piring - tried their original flavour (Gula Melaka). It’s a little too sweet for my liking. All flavors comes in a box of 4@$3.50. The shop gave me a box of kueh dadar to try. The coconut filing is quite sweet but the skin is not too thick. Goes well together.
