Tucked at the corner of 195 Pearl's Hill, its a place where our hardworking police officers were safeguarding the law and order during the turbulence of chaos in the 60s. Kudos to guide George for the wonderful tour with information and stories! We totally enjoy it. ??

A hidden gem to learn more about how police used to function in the past. The guide (Mdm Evelyn) was very passionate in her delivery and made the whole experience very worthwhile.

Truly a hidden gem tucked away in a corner of the city which few people know about this historical building. Built in 1934 and was first used for the Sikh Contingent of the Straits Settlement Police Officers. Later used for Sikh officers and their families and became a barrack. During WWII, it was disbanded in 1945. After the war it was used by many government ministries including the Ministry of Interior and Defence. It was also last used as the Police Headquarters. There is also a Museum there and it's worth a visit.
