The Frosted Chick - 194 Kim Keat Ave

A girlfriend of mine introduced me to Frosted Chick when I shared with her my harrowing experience with another vendor whom I was about to engage for my son's first year birthday party. Thank God I was sane enough to make the switch swiftly and easily, dissuaded by my husband to proceed further from making any form of payment which would make the commitment official and a struggle to break. Unlike the previous vendor, Vanessa from the Frosted Chick was very on-the-ball and replied any queries that I have promptly via WhatsApp. When I sent a question at 6pm on a Friday, a reasonable expectation for the reply would be the following Monday. I was pleasantly surprised to have my clarifications at 1am. Communication was a breeze as compared to my previous merchant where I had to doggedly chase - a huge irony considering I am the client. Any doubts I have regarding the dessert table were answered clearly and patiently by Vanessa. The team was also very punctual in our agreed time of arrival. In fact, I was the one slightly late. (Oops!) The decor was beautiful and uplifting with vibrant colours. Guests at the party complimented the pastries were delicious and yummy. in general. Perhaps one point to consider is offering pastries with "less sweet" or "lower sugar" options so we could also cater to the palettes of older folks and those who are more health-conscious. Some commented it was a bit too sweet for their tastebuds. But overall, we had nothing short of a great time celebrating my son's first birthday. The entire experience was also fantastic. It was hassle-free and I was spared from a painful headache reminiscent of my previous vendor*. I would definitely recommend Frosted Chick as the go-to for dessert tables. Such a pretty cake for my friend’s wedding. Ordered salted caramel flavour. I opted for self pick-up instore as delivery costs quite a bit. Would order again on the next special occasion!

Its my first time ordering my sons 1st birthday cake and desert (cupcakes & macarons) i must said this they didnt disppoint me. They did the cake as how i requested. I was very surprise to see the overall cake design. Their cupcakes n macarons taste too good. I love their vanilla lychee cupcake. Thank you frosted chick and big thanks to your bakers and the gentlemen whom delivered the cake on time. I will surely come back.

We were wowed with how our customized Jurassic Park cake pinata turned out and all details were spot-on! Added our own T-rex n birthday tags to the cake pinata n dino egg cake pops! Love the taste of the light n fresh strawberry cream cake that goes well with the chocolate pinata shell too.

The cake deserves every bit of the the five star that I’m giving it!!! Fresh ingredients, speed and timing of delivery, detailed instructions of how to store and prepare to eat upon delivery, taste and balance of the sugar in the cream, firmness of the sponge, degree of flavour of the vanilla lychee was superb, really, so, so wonderful and satisfying. My daughter who doesn’t even usually enjoy cakes, actually kept coming over to munch on the cream! My whole family loved this!!! Wow! The presentation is exactly as shown in the photos. My neighbour came over to pick her daughter up I said why not have a slice? She said, “Wah the cream is good leh!” Lol Wow, wow, wow!!! ???

4.7 stars? I’m not sure… Just felt cheated. Was it worth the S$80+? I rather spend it on a piñata cake. Extra $10 for strawberry surprise flavour - was at least expecting the entire cake to be strawberry but guess what? It’s just sponge cake with vanilla and some bits of strawberry which tasted dry and plain. My neighbour bakery can do a better job.

Absolutely delighted with my daughter's birthday cake order. It was exactly like the advertised picture! And most importantly, everyone said it tasted great (vanilla salted caramel). Would recommend :)))

I chose to order from the Frosted Chick ‘cos of the nice individual packaging of the cake pops - totally necessary in covid times. They not only looked great but also tasted great. Vanilla & chocolate cake pops were delicious, not overly sweet with the frosting. Probably best cake pops I tasted so far!
