β β β β β Eddy and his team were warm and welcoming. We were amazed at his local food and culture knowledge and love for the sights and sounds of Singapore. Drinks and food were a reflection of his passionate curation. Drinks packed a punch that matched the local flavours. Definitely a place to chill after a long day or to gather with friends for a special event. I will definitely be back for the kichap manis satay and crab cakes that swim on a light coconut curry!

β β β β β stumbled on this gem that is newly opened. almost reluctant to let the cat out of the bag. the ceviche is the best iβve eaten in singapore, their skewers are out of this world tasty. not to mention the handcrafted cocktails to match the food.
you know itβs a winning formula when they get the ambience, food and drinks spot on. thank you to eddy and team for this fantastic experience!

β β β β β Brought my boss and department manager here for drinks after dinner and they left very happy and thanked me for booking the place.
Great service front the Kongsee team.
What an extensive drinks selection available, looking forward to having draft cocktails during our next visit.

β β β β β Nested in an iconic heritage shophouse along buzzy Gemmill Lane, The Kongsee is a new Izakaya cocktail bar opened in April 2022 that pay homeage to Singaporeβs food culture with a modern twist.
KFC (Kongsee Fried Chicken) (3 pieces $18++/ 6 pieces $24++) Using GG French Poulet drumstick mixed with fermented shrimp paste made famous in Southeast Asia.
Mini Roxy Crab Laksa (Small $12++/ Large $20++) Don't expect a punchy Laksa, this delicate & balanced broth with wild caught crab is a great cure for hangovers. Founded in 1952, this Singapore Laksa has won multiple awards & is currently served only in Roketto Niseko, Hokkaido.
Chicken Barley Risotto Roll (2 pieces $14++/4 pieces $25++) Everybody loves chicken rice, a classic Singaporean dish where everyone knows. Using barley instead of rice, a healthier option, so you won't feel guilty after eating it.
Barramundi Ceviche ($19++) Using Fresh Kuhlbara's Barramundi based in Singapore and elevating it into a ceviche dish. Tossed with fresh herbs and vegetables, served with crispy papadums and a scoop of creamy pomelo.
Iberico Satay (2 pieces $15++/5 pieces $30++) Make Satay Great Again. One of Chef's signature dishes, Iberico secreto charcoal grilled to a smokey char. Eat it with the rich Javanese peanut sauce and pineapple salsa
Tandoori Chicken (2 pieces $12++/5 pieces $24++) Garam Masala Marinade. Tender juicy French chicken satay, grilled over charcoal instead of a tandoor & served with a piquant Kashmiri chili yoghurt
The Kongsee ($19++) Tanglin Orchid Gin, Homemade Rose Cordial
Location: The Kongsee, 10 Gemmill Lane, Singapore 069251

β β β β β An interesting twist using local elements and delights as its main draw for its F&B menu.
The food and drinks are pretty decent.
Is worth trying but my poorly managed part were the price point.
I wouldn't return. Food pricing needs to be readjusted.

β β β β β Kongsee is a new kid on the block with generously sized seating for larger groups! It's a great lounge to catch up with friends or coworkers after hours with a nice and chill vibe to talk over food and drinks
Service was great and staff is more than happy to provide suggestions when asked as well.
Would definitely visit again with the wide range of options between beer, cocktails and food. There's definitely something for everyone, even if you're not big on alcohol!

β β β β β Food wise, it was great! The usual tasty and local favourites Mod Sin from Chef Willin Low. Spoilt for choices for Cocktails and beers! Unfortunately, by 7pm, already 1 page of mains was already sold out. Very solid drinks, cheerful and friendly staff.

β β β β β Proud of these guys! A great addition to Singapore. The rose gimlet is the cocktail hit and the Iberico pork skewers are to die for!
