★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It opened at 10:30am and I was the first group of customer at 10:45am. Ordered was place at the machine and food was served in 20mins, all seems to be normal. However, the machines were down after that and drove away 6 groups of customers because they were not able to order and the staff were simply not proactively attend to the customers, leaving them helpless and left. what's frustrating was that the male staff didn't response to the customers when they asked for help for most of the case. The 2nd group of customers only received their meal about an hour later. The restaurant should have better downtime procedure to handle the crowd when the machines are not available, be ready to serve customers when it's opened, and customer service has to be improved for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was happy to know that Soup Spoon Union has a branch in Toa Payoh.
Not only do we get to order soup but also burgers and some other great options from the menu.
i love that there is an option to order thru an app, i can take my time to choose.
I prefer to sit outside, the couch is so comfortable and relaxing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As per any others comment, this soup spoon at toa payoh serves more than just soup. It's been awhile since I really tried it. Last i tried was at the airport before hopping onto a flight before covid. I don't recall have burgers or steaks menu but anyway now it seems to also do that variety.
The crab chili fries was unique and worth trying. The burgers tbh are still not up to standard, many fine tuning required with regards to its burger tastiness. Drinks normal like last time.
Digital payment is something makes sense for the customers to automate process

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This soup spoon outlet serves more than soup. There is other food items like steak, grilled chicken etc. The steak comes with two sides and taste is good. Small dining area, with indoor and alfresco area. Dining environment is clean and service is fast as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Soup Spoon is one of my favorite options for a quick and healthy meal, and this outlet offers salads, grilled plates and burgers along with their classic soups. Our favourites are the grilled chicken breast, Cleo’s bowl and Asian tofu salad.
However, the service at this outlet is pretty bad, so I would recommend takeaways instead. Also don’t try the burgers- they are puny and served lukewarm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is one of the most understaffed Soup Spoon in Singapore. No one(staff) offer you a seat nor helped you, everything is do-it-yourself concept.
I'm glad that there is a variety of choices of food to eat and everything was the same standard as the rest of the soup spoon. The HandBurger menu is really interesting and it taste good too!
Overall, their management(marketing/ ops manager) should view their service flow to make it more efficient and customer friendly.
