Delicious and healthy version of a traditional favourite. Friendly service in a cosy coffeeshop. Perfect for a Saturday snack time and to watch the world go by.

I really enjoy the popiah here! They are so so tasty and I have been eating almost every week! The ingredients are generous and I simply have them for lunch - not too heavy! ??? Keep up the good work! ?

It’s commonly eaten or seen freshly wrapped popiah with lots of shredded turnip and other common ingredients. The Wrap @ Telok Ayer Coffee Shop serves popiah bountifully filled with a combination of various vegetables and homemade ingredients simply sit in harmony and the flavour complements each other. The pie-tees are stuffed with generous ingredients and topped with diced strawberries that enhance the appearance and incredibly create a pleasant taste of the traditional pie-tees. Strongly recommend you to The Wrap!

Size is about 10% larger than the average popiah. The popiah is packed full similar to famous spring court popiah. Ingredients contain more vegetables than typical popiah. Contains some shrimps. Wrap is able to hold the ingredients together. Popiah is cut into half and recommended to eat with hands like burrito. Taste wise is good. Price is slightly pricy at 4.50 each.

Gave the signature popiah a try. It wasn’t close to a burrito style (ie. lots of filling which she said would be), but more like a normal popiah and double the price (at $4.50). Though tasty and flavorful, would rather have 2x Qiji popiah especially for that price.

I really wish The Wrap all the best, but you have to change your popiah skin supplier if you want to pack your popiah so full and so wet. The skin disintegrated by the time I sat down. You can’t hold it. Lucky you didn’t slice it conventionally or else you won’t be able to even pick it up. It will be very messy. Your popiah skin reference would be QiJi popiah skin because they are one of the best. Won’t break one. Taste wise your popiah is so-so. Get the skin right first. As for your mee siam, thanks for the effort but I won’t order again. I’ve had mee siam for decades and I know my mee siam very well. Your gravy need to tweak to make it power otherwise cannot make it. But thanks anyway.

Overrated popiah that’s too expensive. $4 for a vegetarian popiah. It’s strange that I couldn’t even taste the sweet sauce. I think QiJi popiah is much nicer. 3 star for the effort in presentation & soft moist skin. Taste is definitely 2 star only.

While most of the online reviews have focused on the wrap, I think their kueh pie tee is top-notch! Very well balanced, mix of flavours and crispy shell. You definitely have to have it there immediately freshly made. Convenient and quick snack with authentic, traditional flavours
