β β β β β Since Iβve never tried Village Nasi Lemak, I would say this is quite good (I have a Malaysian taste bud). The sambal is quite spicy, fried chicken is crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The rice is fragrant too. I added the sambal sotong as a side. The portion was generous. My friend had the curry kapitan set, it was good as well. Overall, the portion is huge. Unable to finish it. Maybe next time Iβll stick to the fried chicken set without any sides. If you are nearby, do give them a try. Oh did I mention that coffee shop is newly renovated too?

β β β β β One of the better nasi lemak in Singapore. Given the outer colour of the fried chicken is so brown, you wouldnβt expect the meat was so juicy and tender! Chillies is good (spicy and fragrant). Rice is decent. Come early! The last time I came at 1+ pm on a weekday, they were sold out.
Will come back to try other dishes such as beef rendang and some curry chicken.

β β β β β Decent nasi lemak with beef rendang, the chili is the king, goes well with the rice and hard boiled egg. Disapointing beef rendang, can't really taste the spices and aroma. Ikan bilis is crispy and not salty.

β β β β β This is definitely same-same-but-different, regardless you are comparing with Singapore Nasi Lemak or Malaysia Nasi Lemak. Nasi is fragrant & soft, achar is something refreshing (could be better if more sour), ikan bilis/peanut is crispy & crunchy, and most of allβ¦ I love that sambal chili. Thatβs the kind of paste/taste in Malaysia. I would recommend for a whole leg to complete the βinsta lookβ of your meal (its more appetizing but challenging to finish). Think I will be back soon to try for other dishes like beef rendang, curry capitan chicken, sambal petai prawn & sambal sotong. These only makes you missed Malaysia food so so much.

β β β β β Had to eat here since the name resonates deeply with me ? may not be exactly the same as village park but it is one of the better nasi lemak that i had in singapore. Chicken is good! Rice is fragrant, sambal is good! Long queue at lunch. Do beware that you may have food coma after such hearty lunch!

β β β β β Tried this super popular CBD nasi lemak place with a pretty serious queue. Went at 11:30am and the queue was around 15 long already. The service is super quick do this place is use to serving the lunch crowd.
Ordered set A with rendang additional.
I thought the sambal was very good but honestly the chicken was a bit under cooked and the rendang was flavourless.
Maybe it was just a bad day but it was below par.

β β β β β Food is good even takeaway. The chicken is flavorful and skin is crispy.
Rice has a good fragrance and chili is quite nice. Definitely much better than a certain coconut club in terms of price point while standard is as good.

β β β β β Standard coffee shop set up and the queue for nasi lemak is damn long. Had pretty high expectations after all the reviews and online publicity. The fried chicken thigh is really pretty good and cooked to absolute perfection. Sambal is good too, self service according to my colleague. Rice is soft and fluffy, but I might have preferred a stronger coconut flavor and fragrance.
Would probably go back when the craving hits.
