The Kaya panda cake is light and fluffy, with decent taste for kaya and pandan. Hard to find decent ones. Would come back again to buy, and probably other confectionary items too.

Love, love love the coconut tarts packed with loads of coconut. Also look out for the golf ball size Ondeh2. This retro no-frills shop has many other confectionery items. Friends tell me their colorful cream sponge cake slices are also a hit. I'll add in the pics on my next purchase.

Old school classic pandan kaya cakes! Ordered the cakes for delivery and they were really fragrant and not overly sweet! Support local business!

I love the old school vibes of this bakery, which are quite rare these days. They stay true to their simple bakes and mastered the sugar level, not too sweet. Their egg tarts and coconut tarts are done very well!

Just 1 bus stop away from Kovan central, here lies an old school bakery in a shophouse. Very good local baked bread, pastries and cakes - the very kind that I grew up eating in the 80/90s. I love their Red Bean bread, french loaf and pastries. If you are lucky, you will see the auntie arranging the steaming hot Ondeh Ondeh as it fogs up the display case. Very friendly and amicable staff too. They are also one of the few bakeries open till 10pm so if you work late, you don’t have to worry that you can’t get bread for next day’s breakfast. Support local business!

This is an awesome old school bakery. Their cakes are nostalgic and sure to bring you back to yesteryear. I bought these cakes for my baby's first month and they were great! The bakery was nice enough to customize the set so each box contains more of their cakes. They also do the Guo Da Li sets (for Chinese weddings). Not the fanciest bakes but phenomenal value and nice tasting cakes.

Was researching for our wedding cakes and we decided to try out this old school confectionery. What we like about this shop is that we were able to order a mix of buttercream cakes as well as tau sar piah for the different relatives. They were early for their delivery and the cakes tasted really good. We received positive feedback from our relatives who that the cakes are soft and moist. Overall highly recommended!

A precious find for traditional cake. Cake is soft and moist; cream is light and just-nice in sweetness. I usually buy a few boxes and store in the fridge for up to a week.
