Me Tan is a very disrespectful physician. When he saw my septum piercing he insinuated that I am suffering from headaches because of that. If you have been here you will know that the consultation area is public and everyone can listen to your diagnosis and see your assessment. Even though I felt that he shouldn’t criticise me in front of everyone, I just let him speak but he went on and on. He was very rude to me after i revealed my displeasure. I asked if I can tell him about my health problems and he rudely remarked that he isn’t God and won’t know if I didn’t tell him. My Chinese wasn’t good but I spoke to him in mixed English and Chinese sentences as he was speaking in English to my uncle earlier. He asked me why I’m Chinese and I can’t speak “pu tong Hua”. I said I don’t speak that cos I’m not from China. When I felt like his irritation was going to interfere with how he was going to treat me I decided to leave. He tore up my card in front of everyone. I’m not a teenager and I think that I don’t need someone to tell me about my life choices, especially when it’s done publicly and not from a standpoint of care and concern

Dr Tan is a very experienced and humorous person. He will tell you the name of the acupoint while he is performing the treatment, though we might not understand the names, but that shows he really know his work well. He has a young heart, unlike some old Doctors always give a fierce and serious look.
