We had late dinner at this stall. They sell only soup version. Has wanton and meatballs. Quite good if you are looking for some warm soup noodles in the night.

Same same, but different. There have been many stalls selling the Bedok 85-type of soupy bak chor mee, but they don't meet the same standards. Compared the Xing Ji at Bedok 85, the noodles here are more starchy, less springy. The soup here is more salty, but has insufficient sweetness of pork and ingredients. The minced meat are not as soft. It's 90% like the Bedok 85 Xing Ji bak chor mee, but it's the subtleties that didn't make it as good, rendering it as an inferior copy. The only winning point is that the stall gives wanton, and it's good with sole fish within.

Not sure why the reviews only show 3.5 stars but it’s a pretty perfect bowl of noodles to me. Quite similar to the famous 85 bcm but this is more tasty. Even comes with dumplings which is a big plus for me. Soup is piping hot which is perfect for a cold night. The wait time can be quite long during dinner time but they provide a pager so you do not have to wait in line.

Bak Chor Mee (Minced Pork Noodles). The original owner has since handed over this stall to his son and had a short retirement before picking up the apron again to help open a minced pork noodle shop in Macpherson. Taste wise, I think this stall now helmed by the son is not lacking far.

Pretty pricey at $5 for a large bowl. Soup is basically tasteless imo and no sauce is provided. Got about 4 meatballs and 3 dumplings which had pretty stingy filling, and nothing very tasty. As a whole, still ok but nothing special. Would take my money elsewhere instead.

Quite a unique soupy bak chor mee which comes with 2 wanton too for $4. Add in a bit of their red chilli into their piping hot soup and it's heavenly. Seems like they got a few branches.

One of my favourite bak chor noodles. They serve only the soup version. Simple ingredients of minced pork, wanton and meat balls garnished with fried shallots. It just taste heavenly with the soup.

Is it better than bedok 85? In my opinion, no. Although there’s a fair bit of similarity, there is less omph of porkiness in the broth here. The noodles were also very starchy and too tough for my liking. They also serve the noodles with dumplings which I felt was unnecessary given the texture is identical to the noodles. Price wise it was minimally $4. For someone who would only have this for supper, I don’t really need that much carbs as I would have wanted to order some side dish to go along with this. It has been almost 2-3 years since I had bedok 85 meepok but I definitely could remember being blown away then. For this, in comparison it was probably only a small breeze.
