An old name in a familiar neighborhood. The selection of gift shops at Holland Village is so bad that I reckon Time Jelita might be the best place in the vicinity to pick up a gift or two. They also stock Gund soft toys which are well known for their super plush soft toys!

I bought an UMBRA picture frame as a Christmas gift for my BOSS. When she opened it, the glass had a nice big crack right in the middle of it. Aside from the embarrassment, I thought the customer experience was a more horrifying one. NO, they could not arrange for a new one to be delivered to her in exchange. They can only accept in-person exchanges. NO, she cannot make the exchange at a different store at a location more convenient to her. NO, they cannot accept a returned item that would be Lalamoved to the store because they need a hard copy form filled out in person. NO they will not reimburse for cab fare. Impeccable service, I thought, given that they sold me a broken picture frame and passed the inconvenience onto the customer, in this case, my unfortunate boss who received the item from me. Times Bookstore - please get your act together!
