Recommended to make a reservation prior to dropping by as itβs quite packed.
Had 3 dishes.
Tokyo Oysters were fresh and plump. Went well with the condiments they added and worth the price.
KL Hokkien mee was quite salty. Still good if you can take the saltiness.
The crab pasta is bursting with umami and very enjoyable.
Food would all go well with beer.
Overall itβs a good meal.

β β β β β Came here on a Sunday night. Food (2 pastas and 1 appetiser) was horrible but cost $80++. Not worth at all.
Service staff also hovered around my table and kept clearing my table even though crowd was light, which made me uncomfortable. Even charged a physical card which I had to leave with them on hold after I mentioned from beginning that I wanted to use mobile pay with another card.
Overall, had a bad dinner experience. Wonβt recommend for food and ambience.

The good service is the icing on the cake.

β β β β β Food and ambience are good. We enjoyed our time here with our parents. Our boy likes the mac and cheese a lot! Not forgetting their burnt cheesecake.

β β β β β First time here and we had a great experience! The team promptly attended to our concerns with the shaky table and even surprised us with complimentary dessert. Recommend the beef cubes and seabass truffle stew. Kudos to the warm and friendly manager, Jasmine and her teammate Derrick!

β β β β β Tipsy Penguin - Bistro with a live band. By far, my favourite bistro in the East! To start, they have a variety of food and beverage menu at reasonable prices. Not only the prices are great, food and beverage are of a good quality.
Secondly, I was always greeted with friendly smiles every step of the way.
Thirdly, the manager was professional especially when it comes to feedback or any concerns raised.
Of course, there will never always be just the bright side. They have a downside too. If you do not have a reservation, chances are that you might be turned down as they are usually packed with reservations and in rare cases, they accept walk-in.
Anyway, all in all, I would strongly recommend to give this bistro a try and who knows, you might be a regular like me! We might even bump into each other there someday ?

β β β β β My first time. Arrived and greeted by the staff name Jason (I got to know him after i asked for his name). When me and my friends arrived, he greeted us with a smile and welcome us in and bring us to our seats. He recommended us with the ongoing promotions drinks and snacks food that we should try. We ordered those that he recommended and indeed it was delicious. Overall I'm satisfied with the service Jason provided for us and indeed it was up to the standard. Good food and nice service crew and atmosphere. I'll be back again. Thank you guys and keep up the good work. ??(Pardon for the photo leftover as we were to busy eating because its too delicious ?) - And lastly once again thank you Jason for the hospitality throughout. Much appreciated. ?
