They don’t have aircon inside.. Ordered Prawn clam pasta: tasted like pre packet pasta sauce from supermarket - very saucy and salty not much flavour Prawns were fresh Brewed coffee: very bland Staff All young male students live in the area kind of look waiters. No smile no greetings I don’t think I heard any voice from any of them. Not grumpy. But just not interested in what they’re doing. It’s only nice if u want to sit outside for a quick coffee fix. I would not recommend.

On a Sunday morning the place is not at maximum capacity but the staff is not able to manage the crowd. The queue to enter the place was not done in a welcoming manner. The staff stood indoors and waved us in. The food was better when I came in April. My scrambled eggs were too runny. The utensils from the basket were dirty. The water jug came 20 minutes after I asked for it. Their ordering system wasn’t working. The physical menu is not reflective of their prices which they say are updated on the digital menu. The croissant for the Eggs on toast costs additional $3 but it wasn’t written like so on the hardcopy menu that we were given. Do better, Toby!

4 stars for the Cortado I ordered. If you love an intense coffee, I highly recommend it as this was really well done. It is intense enough without the acidity — I find that a lot of places struggle with this. Well worth the price tag of $4.8 before GST. Surf and turf was disappointing. While the pulled pork was great, the entire dish felt too “wet”. Wasn’t very impressed and the hollandaise sauce didn’t stand out as well. Would give this a miss. Prawns and clams pasta — had a bite of my friend’s and seemed pretty good actually! Quite generous with ingredients too. Overall service was ok, not bad but not great either. Reached at about 12 and got a seat indoors immediately so that was fab. Would return to try other mains!

The restaurant is opened as early as 7.30am. It was a public holiday, we reached the restaurant at about 8am for breakfast. It was still quiet with only a couple other diners at that time. The restaurant oversees the Singapore River and it is really pleasant to have a nice breakfast with the lovely view. We ordered the brekkie of champions, surf and turf and breakfast tacos. Not only are these dishes 'Instagramable', they were tasty too. Brekkie of champions is really a full English breakfast, with 'everything' in it and is a sufficient platter for both my grown boys. As for my surf and turf, I really loved how the eggs were being scrambled and it actually goes right with the stewed beef and smoked salmon (if not the smoked salmon can be pretty salty when eaten on its own). The tacos were good and the restaurant weren't stingy with the fillings. The service crew are friendly and responsive too. The crowd starts to come in nearer to 9am, so be there early if you wish to have a nice quiet and peaceful breakfast by the river on weekends/public holidays. Had a delightful experience dining here, will probably be back to try the other items on the menu.

Outdoor dining is highly recommended, but a popular place, right on the river. Waiting time for a Sunday morning without booking was 10~15min. Super friendly staff, quick service. The QR code menu is simple and fast. It's not the cheapest place for breakfast, but the food quality and outdoor dining make up for it.

Perfect for morning brunch. Most of the items are english breakfast. Must try "breakfast of champions", bread, bacon, roasted tomatoes and beans. Beans with gravy is one of the best ever. Quite neighborhood, not too far from Boat Quay. Made plans for my next visit alr ?

Came here on a Sunday for brunch and it was pretty crowded. AFAIK they don't accept reservations so we had to do a walk-in. Fortunately we managed to get a table on the inside for 4 almost immediately. So yes, they have indoor and outdoor seats. If the weather is great, outdoor seats give you a good view of the river and the surroundings. The interior is comfortable, mostly suitable for a group of 4. They do have a large table for bigger groups, but since they don't accept reservations, I won't bet on it. The food is good. They are served pretty quickly so you won't need to wait long. They do have child seats for it is suitable for children. The menu, I feel, not so much though. But I don't blame them, the area is really meant for adults. Parking is a bit tricky if you drive. I had to park at the nearby M Social hotel and walk a little. Cashless payments accepted. Definitely worth visiting again.

decent place to get brunch but it was quite confusing as they got the orders mixed up and my friend’s food only came much later. The iced oat mocha was above average at $8.30 for a cup. The scrambled eggs were good and the muffin was soft and warm. Be sure to check the receipt for the items charged! The place is on entertainer and there’s 1 for 1 mains here which makes it more affordable. Else at this price point, there are better options.
