Todai Singapore

Those who would like to have international buffet, this is the right place. You can have so fresh oysters, sashimi, varieties of sushi, Alaska King crabs (cold or steamed), steaks, chilli crabs, and many cooked foods. Plenty of desserts and Nescafe, TCC coffee are also available. Even though this place is a bit pricey for me, I feel it's worth it.

Arrived there at 1.30pm and after checking our reservation, the unfriendly Korean (?) lady with an American accent told us to settle the bill because the buffet closed at 3pm! Wow, what customer service! Hungry and tired as we were, would appreciate if we were shown to our seats first before being told to pay for what we had not eaten! We insisted on being seated first and were shown by the same lady to the table next to the counter where plates were cleared and there was a slight unpleasant smell from uneaten food. What customer service again considering there was one whole row of empty tables next to us! We were there for a birthday celebration and when we asked whether a slice of cake could be provided for the birthday person, we were told that we had to request for the slice of cake at point of reservation, and that there was a change in policy and the restaurant could provide the candle but we now had to provide our own cake!! Hmm...how were we to know there was a change in policy when we were not told at the point of reservation nor was the change in policy written at Todai's website. Seriously, for the prices we had to pay and given that this was a high-end restaurant located at MBS, expected more customer service. Sadly, the quality of the food had also gone down. The fond memories of the past visits to Todai just ended today and we were unlikely to return. Similar food and better customer service and experience are aplenty elsewhere.

Great selection for buffet. Lots of space - good choice for last minute buffet bookings. snow crab legs are a little disappointing. Good range of food for feast! Never got to try the famed Ginseng soup

there was cook that was in charge of the Italian section, his attitude was extremely atrocious. wanted to place an order, but he ignored my presence. furthermore, his stinking attitude, irks me. the tone used when asked to wait 10 mins for my food was rude. utterly disappointed by the staff's service performance, considering it being a high-end restaurant. moving on to a waitress, when being kindly asked to clear the plates on the table, she simply ignored us. overall, good quality food, bad service quality.

Went For a Dinner buffet with my family as there are many good reviews about it despite the higher price range of buffet dinners. The ambiance is quite nice and cozy. I found that the food is actually so-so and not like as they would describe as "heavenly". Distinct point of this place: The free flow of crab claws and legs.

Wide variety of food choices and drinks included. Oyster was ok but not the best. Food was ok but some was really good(lamb). Price was reasonable.

The price is a bit on a high side and the taste of the food is just ok. I would just go to Carousel Buffet or even at Kuishin Bo instead of paying this much for an "OK" food. Try to go to this buffet place at least once just to experience it and eat a lot of crab legs.
