★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wouldn’t say it’s the best Roasted Chicken Rice. Yes, sometimes the chicken can be a bit dry. The rice may not be as fragrant as other chicken rice. But what I like is the sauce that goes with the chicken and rice. Order the braised egg and they will give you a small bowl with the sauce and egg in it.
To me, it’s an above average chicken rice that is affordable and a stall that I have kept coming back to for many years.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here several times and thought was the best roasted chicken rice in Singapore. Today I was here and was served with Super dry roasted chicken . Could it be yesterday’s chicken?
I would have given them 5 stars because it’s inconsistent so they get only 3 stars cos we had to force ourselves to finish the 3rd rate chicken we ordered.
It was so bad I had to go tell them myself. We were there 11.30am. Although they denied it but the likelihood of the 1st few customers being served with re-roasted chicken is quite possible.
*The 1st few customers are likely yr fans that’s why they come early to beat the crowd.
I tried again today 11.2.2020, the rice was hard and not cooked through. Chicken wa very dry. I’m giving up eating from this stall. I ate 4 times . 2 times was good and 2 times below average. Completely inconsistent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best chicken rice in Singapore! They cook their rice manually in a giant pot instead of a rice cooker, and it makes a huge difference. The rice is much more chewy and fragrant, and their Chili sauce is the best. My family’s favourite for many years.
