Tribeca (formerly Aquadisiac) - #01-21 The Grandstand

Chanced a hidden gem located within @thegrandstand_sg @tribecasg SG first multi-menu concept restaurant that also houses @thaipanrestaurant @latakorea.sg @pastatable.sg @phatfingers.sg @smittenicecreambar @southernsoul.sg @the_vault_sg Environment is chill, booming & vibrant & you get robot serving the food to you. Price is also reasonable & affordable. Especially they're on @chopesg which I get to save 20% ? Tried 1 item each from the different brands. Tribeca 《Australian Angus Beef Burger》 Sandwich by two fluffy beautifully toasted buns, this burger is a must-try. The savoury juicy beef patty are well seasoned & flavourful, complementing the sweetness from the caramelised & fresh onion combined with smoked chedder cheese, sub-dried tomato and romaine lettuce. Each mouthful is satisfyingly rich with an umami note. Southern Soul 《Nashville Wings》 6 wings glazed with Nashville-style hot sauce that is tangy & packs a real punch. The hot sauce spiced up with a twang of zest & with that addictively hot ghost peppers, just can't stop at 1. La Takorea 《Bao Chicka Wow Wow》 3 golden brown baos that is fried to perfection, stuffed with crispy crunchy juicy chicken, gochujang aoili, cabbage slaw, kimchi and nacho cheese. What's not to love? Phat Fingers 《Wicked Wings》 6 pcs extremely crunchy twice-fried wings that's glaze with a mouthwatering sauce of Classic Yangnyeom. The flavour-packed shattering-crisp skin envelopes juicy and tender meat which leave me craving for more. Pasta Table 《Spicy Linguine Crab Arrabiata》 The sweetness of fresh crabmeat & grilled vegetables perfectly combine with the intensity of tomato & the spiciness of the chilli, recreate the take on of Singaporean chilli crab with Italian twist. ThaiPan 《Butter Prawn》 Probably one of the best butter prawn I've ever tried. The prawns coated in egg butter & is creamy & buttery. I find myself hook onto the buttery eggy sauce. Smitten Ice-Cream Bar《Strawberry Cheesecake Milkshake & Lychee Float 》 This Strawberry Cheesecake Milkshake is BEST EVER MILKSHAKE! ITS SO DIVINE AND MAGICAL! The lychee float is very refreshing & with lychee ice cream which intensify the fruit flavor. Ig: @zoey_belle_

The first multi menu restaurant and most importantly Thai pan is here! Other menus include ice cream, cakes, fried chicken and pasta. It has an Alice in wonderland theme, cute robot servers and very friendly waitstaff.

This is my 2nd visit. I like the ambience, which is relaxed and quiet, with music playing in the background at a volume that is not "intrusive". I had the Beef It Up (beef brisket) burger the 1st time. It was nice, not fantastic, but I enjoyed it, nonetheless. Forgot to take a pic though ... This time I was greedy, I tried the Kim Jong Un's Nuclear Burger & Wicked Wings with Psy's Soy Garlic Sauce. The burger was good - juicy chicken patty with a flavourful ghost pepper sauce. For those who like hot & spicy food, this is for u. It is not too spicy until it takes away your enjoyment of the food, but enough for a good kick :) However, I do find the sauce a tad too salty. Toning the saltiness down a bit would make it better. The Wicked Wings was so-so. The soy garlic sauce was also a bit too salty, but I liked the flavour. And they were not as crunchy as I like. I was also a bit disappointed that all six pieces were winglets, no drumlets at all. I prefer 3 whole wings to 6 winglets. But this may be due to the short supply of chickens? Not sure though. Mocha Latte was very good. For those who like chocolate with coffee, go for it! Overall, I will give this place 4* for the overall experience. If the food was just a bit better, it'll definitely garner 5* from me :) I will definitely return and try other items on the menu. They do serve a wide variety of food!

Thaipan! <3 the alcohol deal is great too; free flow truffle fries or korean wings with every alcoholic drink. Some of the former Thaipan staff are still here, always a delight to see familiar faces!

Wide range of food choices on the menu, but the taste could be improved (a lot). Some smaller establishments are way better in terms of taste and price. The pasta was near tasteless and the salad was nothing to shout about. Probably that’s why it’s quiet. Won’t be back at all.

They have a deal where you get free flow truffle fries (chunky kind) and Korean sticky wings as long as all adults buy an alcoholic beverage. This makes a really good deal for families - parents get much deserved booze and kids eat wings and fries to their hearts’ content! Food was satisfying and service was really friendly and attentive. Only thing was the menu was very long and quite confusing (e.g. 3 different kinds of fried chicken across different “stores”). But once you get through that to order, it’s a good experience!

They have a special offer. Buy any alcoholic drink and get truffle fries or Korean chicken wings as free flow. But I didn’t go for that. I did try the wings and felt it was too salty and not crispy enough. The Thai / Chinese food was actually not bad. It was above my expectations. As this joint was serving so many different kinds of dishes, I was worried they couldn’t focus. Will go back and try the other dishes.

Really nice environment to chill, get a coffee, or have desserts. They have a wide range of food items on their menu, from western to oriental. As I went in the afternoon on a weekday, it wasn't very crowded, so I was even allowed to whip out my laptop and get some work done. The staff was also helpful in getting us the WiFi password. The waffle + ice cream here was pretty good. Buttermilk waffles was crispy on the outside and not too dry on the inside. Each scoop of ice cream was rather generous as well in size. I recommend the dark cacao flavour for ice cream.
