Long waiting time

Dr Alex Lau has great bedside manner and was most reassuring and respectful towards my mother in law during her routine eye checkup??

Avoid at all.cost. Did a simple eye surgery with a prof - but the surgery made my eyes worse. i had to seek second opinion and treatment with another doctor.

Great service. Short waiting time. Our appointment was at 8:30 am (brought forward by two months) and from start to finish the process was smooth flowing. Upon arrival we received assistance with the queue ticket and directed to the registration counter. There, we were informed of the fees and the rooms we have to go to for our visual acuity eye tests, etc. At the waiting area, we could help ourselves to coffee, Milo and water. Unfortunately, only water was available that day as the beverages were not replenished. Payment was seamless and followup appointment was made at the same location. It would have been a 5-star rating if not for their hotline system below. The only gripe is the hotline number +65 6357 7000. It is actually a 2-step process where you call in, a "telephone operator" answers the call and take down your name. Your query is only looked into when the hotline staff returns your call. A letdown when you are told that you are first in the queue and after waiting in anticipation, you found out that you have to wait for them to call you back. Urgh!

Eye test takes 15 mins. They like to make you wait for 2 hours to see the doctor.

Staff were polite and efficient so its 5☆ for them. Took 3 hours from registration to finish. Mostly waiting for doc to examine. Minus 1 star for the loooong wait. Minus 1 more star for the crowd and lack of seats. This is mainly because the waiting area at the diff rooms r small and some of the patients had 2 people accompanying them. So these people, who r not patients, took up half the seats in the small waiting area. Please have some common sense. Nobody goes for check up if they r feeling ok. Let the patients have the seats. N please, the clinic is not a place for family outings. 1 person accompany is enough.

Staff are all so friendly. Been to many hospitals and TTSH always makes it feel LESS DAUNTING than it should be. Saw a Dr Amir...GREAT young physician! Kudos to the TEAM.
