Had a delicious teatime at this place on a quiet Sunday afternoon. Food was yummy but what won us over was one of the servers, Kelly. Shout out to you! We were a big group of adults + toddlers but from the moment we arrived she sprang into action, moving tables around to accommodate our group size. She wouldn't let us lift a single chair and made sure we were comfortable. Come order time, Kelly made good recommendations, and attended to orders promptly. When something happened with their system (extra order came in) she was profusely apologetic and sincere about the error. That mishap could have affected the experience but Kelly's genuineness and readiness to serve made up for everything else. Good job Kelly, you made our first time there a great one. :)

Not much to rave about. Service staff were borderline unfriendly. Had a toddler with me, didn’t offer me baby utensils. No smile no hello nothing. Portion acceptable. Taste alright. Comfortable setting. But for this service I wouldn’t come back again.

Wanted to charge $1 for 2x tap water, not even on the menu. Bottled water was sold out. Are you joking? Food otherwise was pretty good but the service was terrible. This policy has to change if you want better reviews. Will not eat here again

Saw a long queue at lunch and decided to try after lunch for brunch.Food is average and milk tea so so.

Empty at tea time on a weekday. Had an iced peach tea which wasn't excessively sweet. Tried a slice of the lemon travel cake which was average. Service just about alright considering its empty, however the few staff seemed discoordinated and they all looked glum or unhappy. Feel sorry for them, perhaps management has to look into staff satisfaction.

I had: 1. Braised meat rice - rice amount is generous, and the pickles are very nice. However I think there's some lacking in the braised meat itself. 2. Typhoon momofuku bun - the braised pork belly is nice but there's just not enough meat. A bit of sauce will help too as the bun is dry.

Got the weekday lunch promo at 11.90 ++, had the canadian pork chop which was soft, crust was crispy and egg fried rice was delicious. Nth to hiam. Added on the souffle stack at a discounted price of 9.90, which tasted heavenly with the sauce, fruits and honey ice cream. Really enjoyed my dessert :')

A friend and I happened to walk for lunch in on their opening day (which we were unaware of). We got seated immediately, and the drinks were served fast. However, the food we ordered took very long to arrive, which was beginning to irritate us. Then the waiter explained to us that they just opened on that day and they we getting the kitchen up and running. As my friend was prone to gastritis, the waiter brought her a bowl of rice with braised egg, to line her stomach while waiting for the order. The food was worth the wait. The hotpot black bean tofu with oyster and eggplant was perfectly cooked, and was packed with oysters that weren't over-cooked, and yet, the sauce was perfectly flavoured from the oysters (how they managed that feat, especially in a hotpot, is a mystery - and no, it wasn't simply oyster sauce). The steamed barramundi was delicate and cooked to perfection. As it was their opening, I decided not to penalize them for the delay in serving the food, but judge them on the quality of the food - which deserves 5 stars. I hope to come here again on my next visit to Singapore.
