UNIQLO Paya Lebar Quarter (PLQ) Mall

Got what I wanted, my initial impression was it way cost effective, it actually is, but may be I had higher expectations. Still got my kid what we want.. great variety. The style is more simple than fancy..

Good big and neat store.

The walkways are not as narrow as some outlets in city area, due to rental is higher in city. So have more walk spaces. All staff in Uniqlo are very helpful and courteous. Like to shop in Uniqlo.

Place there seemed disoriented. Especially the queue. So many staff there yet the place is haywire... Also, arent they supposed to say "Welcome to Uniqlo!" to any customers walking in?Why do I get the feeling like I'm the only one they never said it to? All the other customers got a warm welcome, but im just treated like a ghost. Am I invisible or something? I don't feel welcomed.. So glad I didnt buy anything that day... Worth the save.

It's always fun visiting a Uniqlo outlet and there are branches in like almost every major retail mall in Singapore.

I went down specially to purchase the Studio Ghibli series on its first day of launch. They gave me 2 white bags as gifts. I requested repeatedly for a yellow one. They kept robotically replied it's random. There was no crowd and no queue. I pleaded a few times and they flatly refused. I initially accepted their decision and left the outlet. Then my friends informed me that they were given one bag of each colour when they made their purchases at Jurong Point. The staff there made sure they got one bag of each colour. My sister bought online and got 3 yellows and 2 whites. They asked me to go back for an exchange. I did go back and they start their robotic replies again. This time with the manager in tow and three of them attacked me using your policy. They put me down and said it's unfair to other customers. Like how? If I went 2 weeks after launch and insisted on a colour they do not have. I won't insist but how is it fair to me? If there were seven colours and I want that particular two colours then I admit I am being unreasonable. In the end, they did exchange the bag for me grudgingly but I left a very unhappy customer. Plus they told me this is a one off incident and told me I better not ask for favours the next time round.

Was there for an exchange of purchases made last week. The staffs over there were helpful. Special mention goes to the store manager Shah, who went over and above and combed through the transaction records in their system as I have misplaced the receipts. Really appreciate it!
