The store is run by an elderly ( not too old ) couple, very nice and humble personality. I like to have my congee at the table in front of the store for the atmosphere seeing people order and collect their hot bowl of congee. It give me a kind of old school feeling. There is also a lot of other famous food around this Hawker Centre, so go in a group and share the good taste.

Congee is very thick and satisfying, not watery, ingredients are given very generously, you tiao is crispy and MOST Importantly, the price range is TOO good to be true at as low as $3 per bowl for such a big and delicious portion. Additional raw egg can be added at $0.50 only which is very fluid and yellow when you break the egg within the porridge. Fish slices are thick and fresh. Century egg is very nice. There are so many other options as well. When you purchase from the stall, you can see how Giantic the pot they use to cook the congee in. Just be careful to eat slowly as the congee is very hot the moment you purchase it. #ILoveCongee
