Horrible experience. Hot oil massage lasted 5 minutes. Oil was not even hot. The staff don't even know how to wash hair or blow dry hair. Never ever going back

I regularly go for my facial and hair dye. Mrs Elizabeth is always very caring towards her customer and she makes sure customer had a best services before they leave the place always. She makes sure customer feels at home and she is very kind that she do extra mile services too. Her staff Ms.Uma very proffessional in her work and gives good services with care and respect customers request. They except walk in customers too without appts and as long its not crowded and do a excellent job for their customers too.Vanessa products are all herbal and they smell very divine on me and i feel very relaxed and really feel very confident when I leave the place always.Vanessa thank you for your services God bless you and your staffs keep up the good work ?

So I went to their Buffalo road branch today and I say this because I’ve been to Vanessa’s other branch frequently before. It was a horrible experience. I don’t usually leave Google reviews but I thought my experience was worth sharing so the establishment knows what an average customer experiences & can serve others better. I was serviced by Elizabeth - an older lady. Look, her skills are fine, great even. She knows her job well and can do it, but it’s horrible because the entire system lacks cleanliness, professionalism and good customer care. Customer care - she is very forceful with her threading. I have had painful threadings before but this was particularly the case. She tends to put all her force on the customer and this results in painful plucking. Her shaping is good, but the process to get there makes it not worth it. Professionalism - I asked for arm waxing. Instead of letting me know that the wax takes a long time to heat up (1 hour to be precise) and that it wasn’t ready, she insisted that it was good and proceeded to invite me to get it done. During the process because the wax wasn’t melted, she had to rub the wax against me so forcefully to get some onto my skin. Even though I was wincing in pain and told her it was painful, she proceeded to tell me that it was my dark skin or Low pain tolerance that was the issue. The hair removal was also shoddy and she tried to rush the job several times and I had to point her to unfinished patches. Cleanliness - ok this was so terrible. Items strewn everywhere; the wax machine had dirt & other people’s hair (yes). I regretted it so much. It was revolting and a swaying factor to make me never go there again. Payment options - they claim to accept GrabPay and credit card, but in reality only cash and nets were accepted. I had neither on hand today which is why this was an important factor for me. I do not write this out of malice, but there are some decent standards for a customer to expect. Hope this gives them some awareness in how to improve their business. Again, this isn’t personal and I usually go to other salons but went there today because they were closed.
