Vegetarian Food #01-33 - 209 Hougang Street 21

This is the only stall of vegetarian food in this hawker centre. The food is fresh, tasty & healthy. The stall has variety of vegetarian options including green veggies, tofu, spring rolls, bee hoon etc. The uncle/aunty selling the food are nice. The food stall closes between 7:00-7:30 in evening. A must try I would say.

Have been a loyal patron of this vegetarian stall for a few years now. One of my favorite around the area due to its good variety (not alot but enough for me) and affordable pricing. Always long queue during peak festivals like the 1st and 15th of the Lunar Calendar, and of course on Vesak Day. So be sure to come and queue early for this! Stall owners are a very friendly bunch of family members too who gives generous portions each time we order. Not too oily or salty as well - flavour is just right. There is another Vegetarian stall just opposite but to be honest this is still my preferred one due to the taste of the dishes and variety which suits my palette. Highly recommend the spring rolls (super crispy and fresh!), tofu, eggplant, and crispy duck skin! It’s only $2.70 for a standard plate with cabbage, mock char siew etc. so definitely won’t be too expensive. A good alternative will be Vegetarian Express within Heartland mall.
