โ โ โ โ โ Disappointing bowl of prawn noodle. Soup was more of a pork broth. For the time needed to queue and the price, definitely not worth it

โ โ โ โ โ They are my go-to prawn noodles ever since they opened at kovan FC. Kind of disappointed these days. The soup is tasty, but not as tasty as before. Lately, the noodles and beehoon are overcooked and very mushy. Initially thought maybe was just that day. But tried other days and the same thing happened. Ordered pork rib prawn beehoon noodles, but the quantity of pork rib has also shrunk. Hopefully they do something about it to bring back the standards.

โ โ โ โ โ Ah Hui @ Kovan - My third try, probably my last! The soup has too much porky taste in there that I thought it was Bak Kut Teh, maybe some people like it, for me, itโs totally wrong!

Food portion / Price: Reasonable portion for $4.50 small prawn noodle. They also have option of big prawn noodles with a heftier price tag.
Expect a queue especially on weekends.

โ โ โ โ โ Went to Kovan to try this stall, Ah Hui Big Prawn Noodles. Queue was formed when I reached there. Opt for dry version of prawn noodles with pork ribs for $5.50. You will get a decent size of noodles, coated with savoury garlicky sauce and their aromatic chilli which was quite spicy. Prawns were shelled and they were very fresh as you can taste the sweetness from them. Pork ribs were sweet and tender. The prawn broth had prawny flavour with distinct pork taste too, which was light and refreshing. Definitely recommended to try their prawn noodles.

โ โ โ โ โ Tried the Prawn and Pork Ribs Kway Teow Mee dry. Chilli sauce is nice but my next order will request less oil as its quite oily. Soup lacks power, not sure what ingredients missing.
