★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the stalls with no queues at brunch time. Decided to support the two uncles - tabao the beef balls soup and braised tendon.
The beef balls were tasty in a slightly more pepperish and herbal broth that really went well with plain rice.
The braised tendon was very tender and melt-in-the-mouth (probably simmered/braised for a long time).
This stall is situated (near the stairs from the old interchange) along the same row as the fresh fruit juice stall, mala stall.
Worth a try if you are looking for a nice bowl of beef noodles for some added iron for your body ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointing beef noodle.
Beef is overcooked and hard. The "dry" version is not the one with sticky sauce, instead it is pretty watery with a herbal taste.
Probably for you if you like herbal stuff, or if you crave beef noodles late night. Was still open when I visited at 9.30pm.

After 3 rounds of appeal to WhyQ, I finally received my refund after 1 week.

Ordered several items from Chinatown Beef King Kovan hawker centre through WhyQ spent $45 in total. One of the items ordered was Braised Beef Tendon $17.60 but it was not delivered to me. Received Beef Tendon Kuey Teow Soup instead (see attached photo). Called WhyQ customer service, emailed photos as proof, but WhyQ said Chinatown Beef King insisted their Braised Beef Tendon is like that one & the kuey teow is they give free & simply refused to exchange the item nor refund. The Beef Tendon Kuey Teow & pkt of soup is still in my fridge as proof that I didn’t accept the wrong, cheaper item. What recourse do I have now, any advise?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not bad for the price paid for. The are enough of meats served, they are well cook but a herbal taste. Overall average tasting and quality seems good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered $5 for a bowl of sirloin 牛腩 with yellow noodle. Tender and soft sirloin, herbal soup base (not MSG). I have eaten several pieces of the sirloin and some noodles before I took this photo.
If you like beef noodle, you must give this a try. You can also go for $7 option.
