★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is probably another local resident’s favourite. I was given a buzzer after I ordered. Waited for almost 10mins before it was my turn. Ordered the Wanton noodle which was SGD$3. Besides the usual wanton noodle, they also offered items like braised chicken feet and curry noodle. Noodle was nicely cooked but was kinda dry. Charsiew and wanton tasted fine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This stall was very old school, the vegetables are overcooked till they are soft, the charsiew is not charred and the skin of the dumplings are a little thick, the soup is light, seasoning of noodle was ok. For me, it was a disappointment. It’s just not my kind of wanton mee but that does not mean it’s not your kind. Seeing the queue, I expected something more!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not only does it have the lean char siew, the noodles is the thin sort I like too. The more HK style kind I think. The wanton is delicious in that broth with plenty of umami. The fried wantons I got were fried perfectly and not greasy at all. I ordered with extra char siew and the whole thing cost me $5. Not bad for a delicious meal.
