3 Stars solely for the price.. the price doesn’t really match the caliber of the food although it tastes decent. Outlet gives you the feels of japan because it is really cramp. Staff was friendly.

$35 chirashi don $26 salmon belly don both are super worth and really loved the thickkk sashimi slices, especially the belly and swordfish!! no gst or service charge as well.

The place gets busy, even during a weekday lunch.. but I'm not sure if I get it. The ambience was pretty average, likewise the service, the food weren't superb, pricing is inexpensive. Definitely not what I'll travel or wait for.

This is a small, no-frills restaurant with one of the most delicious and value-for-money chirashi sushi don sets. This special chirashi sushi don set ($38) comes generously topped with thick, thick slices of fresh swordfish, scallop, salmon, hamachi, octopus and sweet prawn and a scoop of ikura. The bed of rice the fish rest on is very good as well - tasty, well-cooked and evenly vinegared. The set also comes with miso soup, appetiser and fruit as dessert. Definitely warrants return visits. Note: They do not accept reservations, so come at off-peak hours or be prepared to queue.

Been back at this place 3 times within a year and would recommend to all my friends and family. The owners are very friendly and the sashimi is generously portioned and very fresh. Especially love their wagyu beef cubes and they use the oil from the beef to cook fried rice, taste delicious!

If you miss travelling to Japan to eat authentic sushi and all, you know this is the place to go. Decently affordable, extremely fresh and addictive. Everything from the taste of the food to the whole ambience and decor will make you feel like you’re not in Singapore at all. Their beef udon hits differently genuinely. Extremely soulful and the broth is so darn good that you’ll be speechless for a while. Salmon Aburi and their hand-rolls are our go-to as well! Many come for their fresh sashimi but would say the entire menu is worth trying. The place only accepts cash and pay now so come prepared! If you’re having a bad day and need a pick-me up food, give them a go!

Expect an absolutely no frills place with counter seats. Honestly chawanmushi for $5 wasn’t that great but good that it was served hot. The aburi salmon roll was generous but the sauce was kind of weird and a little too watery. At $16, it was not worth the price. Place gets pretty crowded easily and the wait for food can be slightly long. Overall there are better options for Japanese food elsewhere.

Enjoyed the food and sake. Family is happy we got seats together and enjoyed every dish. It is priced fairly and portions filling you up. But as there are limited seats, please do not expect a place where you can eat and linger too long. Popular with regulars.
