Wilby Residences - 25 Wilby Rd

My wife and I stayed at Wilby Bukit Timah for the whole of March 2017 in a one bedroom apartment and it was a wonderful experience. The apartment was perfect. It consisted of a large living room with a balcony, a king size bedroom, a fitted kitchen with access to a utility balcony and a bathroom with a shower. The tastefully decorated living room had a large screen TV with cable channels, a three piece suite, a dining area with table and chairs and an entry vestibule. The bedroom had a TV showing local channels and it had plenty of fitted furniture space. The kitchen had a good deal of cupboard space, cooker, washing sink area and large American style fridge. It had more than enough crockery, cutlery, pots and pans for two people. Access to the utility balcony with the washer and drier was from the kitchen. The balcony off the living room provided a nice place to sit and enjoy the Singapore sunshine . The apartment also had high speed WiFi and was serviced thrice weekly to a very high standard. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, from the administration staff, the concierge on our first night after office hours, cleaning maid, breakfast ladies and a special thanks to Lynette Wang from the administration office who was so caring and thoughtful during our booking and stay. The substantial continental breakfast served in the Briz Lounge was excellent. My wife really enjoyed using the residents pool in the well laid out grounds. We never used the gym but it looked fully equipped. The flat was in a very quiet residential part of Singapore with near access to buses and a ten minute walk to the MRT at Sixth avenue. There was a free shuttle bus between Wilby Bukit Timah and Wilby Central with various stop and pick up points between. The excellent Asanoya bakery at Wilby Central gave a discount to Wilby residents on their wonderful food. Yes Wilby Bukit Timah was the perfect home from home and we shall be booking again and looking forward to our stay next year 2018.

Serviced apartments and condominium accommodation in an atas (high class) neighbourhood. Great facilities: swimming pool and barbecue pits in the central courtyard, and a number of children's outdoor play areas dotted around the compound. Well-maintained tennis courts on the north-west side of the compound. Great place for families and those on short term contracts.

Place looks really nice . It is a serviced apartment. Low rise and plenty of greenery and unblocked view. I coach tennis there....tennis court is just above average with not so good night light.

Excellent roomy accommodation and caring staff. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here when based in Singapore. Only real downside is it’s a little removed from central Singapore and it’s a nightmare (sometimes impossible) to get a taxi into town on a weekend.

While the place itself is very nice and comfy, the management of the place is not so good. Better said, it feels like there is no one managing it so the staff do whatever they feel like. The biggest issue we had was with housekeeping department as they provide cleaning three times a week. I'll just say that I saw the cleaning lady using the same cloth to clean the bathroom, kitchen and do dusting in the living room and you will get my point. On the other side, even after our feedback , she would show her attitude and argue with us. I had to raise a complaint about her three times before they finally replaced her. When it comes to breakfast they are offering in the morning, my advise would be: do not even bother going. You will get same bad attitude from the staff who will start removing the food 15-30 min before the end or come and help themselves right in front of guests. Even if you are lucky to still get some food, those would be stale croissants or some buns you do not want to eat. But again, only if you are lucky. There was a few nice staff members from maintenance department and concierge, I have to say. Especially the gentlemen who welcomed us when we arrived. He was happy to help us remove the base of the bed from our bedroom as we needed a floor bed for our babies, even though we were told that bit can not be done when we were booking the place. He was always happy to help with anything. Overall, the place has a good wibe as there are many families with young children staying and mostly expats. If I would to stay there again, I'd keep my expectations very low.

We stayed 10 months in Wilby Bukit Timah, it is really good value for the money. The rooms are spacious and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The tenants are an interesting mix which we appreciate and met some wonderful people, some are newcomers like us, some are people that return here regularly and some are local Singaporeans that stay during renovation of their own house.

My family and I spent 6 weeks here in one of the 3 bedroom units. It was a wonderful experience. The staff are amazing, the amenities are first class and the units are spacious and lovely. All in all, a great introduction to Singapore and excellent value for money.

I teach at a university on Clementi Road and stay at Wilby Residences Bukit Timah in part because the bus rides to and from school are quick and easy. But this serviced apartment distinguishes itself for the spacious rooms and helpful staff. After three years away, when I returned this fall, they remembered me and gave me the apartment that I had previously. I can't ask for more and I highly recommend Wilby.
