Absolutely fabulous. Every dish from appetiser to dessert was perfect. Extremely difficult to name a favourite but I would have to pick the abalone and oyster donabe!! The bread with nori was so soft and tender, the shima aji with tomatoes were so refreshing as well! Best to go as group so you can share the mains with your friends and family! Limited seats and currently I think booking is notoriously tough.

All and all a great experience. Amazing food by a talented chef. First why i dropped it one star. The wine list was a little disappointing for such amazing food. Personally, I would recommend bring a bottle given the cuisine. The food pairs well with medium reds and stronger whites. Corkage is 75 or 1-1. I feel the service is still "learning" or a work in progress. Service delivery wasn't as polished as the food nor presented on par with the expectation. I felt the service team didn't seem to understand the food nor the cuisine well enough and it came across "read". Luckily, the food is so amazing, but it does set a very high bar and expectation. My personal favorites were the snacks (Caviar, Foie Gras, Chutoro. IKR, how can you go wrong). The Kinmedai Koshihikari Rice was another fav for me. The broth with its richness. So lovely. Well done food. The desserts were also quite yummy. Suggest you go before they move the price up. :) Parking is not so great in that area. warning - Valet is 20 SGD if you so choose to use them.

Newly opened pan-Asian cuisine restaurant on Hong kong street, excellent food with great ambience, this is what I call a truly fusion cuisine. Only Asian chefs know how to cook kinmedai. Mini foie gras bolo bao is very interesting, chi ayu is also very memorable, desserts were great to finish off the dinner. Love the demonstration, the sauce they use for each dish is perfect, the combinations were amazing! Will definitely visit again.

Loved how the food was executed. Particularly the fish broth that was dense and full of flavour. Also loved the alcohol selection with great choices of sakes to choose from. Would definitely come back

100% will return and already have plans to. Excellent selection of dishes and top standard service for my dad’s birthday in the private room. Super premium ingredients and value for money.

After many weeks, we finally got a reservation at Willow. Menu had 11 items and we topped up for Amadai and Wagyu for dinner. The beautifully presented starters were delightful. Next, we had the homemade seaweed bread with their special egg sauce and it was very good. For the Amadai, we felt that it could have been done better. The fish lacked flavor on its own but with the accompanying sauce, it was okay. Wagyu was executed very well and we enjoyed it. The last savoury dish was the Kinmedai with their very umami fish broth. I love fish and rice and so this did not disappoint - it was excellent. Finally, it was desserts and their "tutu kueh" was an interesting twist on the traditional kueh - compliments to the dessert chef (she was so cheerful and happy and we love her enthusiasm!) for delivering a sweet ending. Though our meal was good, I gave only 4 stars cos I think service can be improved. As a fine dining establishment, I expected more. We had to ask for top-ups for our water (we ordered sparkling water) and sake. This should not happen as servers are expected to be more attentive when we are paying so much for a meal. Nobody came to ask any feedback on how was our meal and it was more a touch and go service. Compared to other fine-dining establishments, Willow falls short of service expectations. All said, I do expect Willow to get at least One-Michelin star in the future once it sorts out its service standards.

This meal was just divine! Loved the decor and amazing ambience. Chef Nicolas and his team treated us like their old friends and that made for a very relaxing dining experience. And the food… oh wow, each course was a perfect harmony of flavours from start to finish. Love this place, will definitely be back (if I can get a reservation!)

Loved the snacks, loved the mains, loved the desserts! Lots of fish varieties & the A5 Miyazaki was simply divine. Fresh produce from Japan. The ambience all around was casual & joyful. Well done Chef Nicholas Tam & team. Chef Hui Shan, your desserts are super dainty and yummy yet not sweet. I'm sure this place will get it's ⭐ next round!
