It’s been quite the experience here! We love that the drinks are tasty yet made into “long drinks” which is an absolute delight to enjoy and sip. Food wise they do have some intresting options such as the Indian style vegetables pancakes that’s full of flavour and generous. We would also like to commend Nas for his warm hospitality! We learnt a lot about dry and sweet sherry and was literally treated like old friends. Quite the experience! And we’ll be back for sure. ?

Have been into speakeasy bars recently and decided to bring my boyfriend here to celebrate his birthday after dinner with unique cocktails. Hidden behind a common shophouse door, we were greeted by a really enthusiastic front of house staff who led us to our seat. We ordered the Kentucky Buck and First Crush. The Kentucky Buck had a mix of bourbon and ginger beer with strawberry, lemon and angostura. It was a little smokey with a hint of sweetness, a touch of bitterness that left a really nice aftertaste. First Crush was recommended by their staff. It was a mix of gin, rosé, strawberry, lemon and benédictiné. I was slightly skeptical when I saw the fruits as I generally steer away from sour drinks, but the staff assured me that it was not at all sour, rather it was a bit sweet and refreshing. We really enjoyed both drinks and especially the experience brought about by this speakeasy bar. It was definitely a unique experience!

A discreet speakeasy with excellent ambience and very friendly staff. Ordered the cheeseballs, burger and cornbread for dinner. Cornbread was ok, the other 2 were delicious. For drinks, we got Scratch Record, First Crush and Counterpunch. The cocktails were pretty strong. Good place for a date night, prices are slightly on the high side, we spend $130+ for 2 pax.

Walked in after 10pm on a Friday night expecting to be turned away but they had 2 seats for us! Loved the cocktails and the ambience here! Staff/bartenders were really knowledgeable and friendly too :-)

The perfect speakeasy bar. The non-descript and quite deceptive entrance hides a gem of a place, with extremely carefully crafted cocktails, and staff that are as friendly as they are knowledgeable. My recommendations- the 28HKS take on the old-fashioned (drink) and the mac & cheese balls (food).

A very nice and cozy bar, fully recommended as one of the best bars in Singapore. Staffs are very friendly and cocktails are great! Absolute gem in downtown!

This place is an institution in the local bar scene. They keep the spirits high but the lights down-low. Good vibes. A great place to practice your 6-inch voice with a date or have an after-dinner drink with a friend you’ve not seen in a while. Drinks> Dishes here so come semi-satiated. There is NO official menu for teetotallers. ;) Loved the Brussel Sprouts!

Don't be fooled by the simple exteriors. Once you step in, you will be transported to a dark, well appointed bar. Service is great and the cocktail selection is superb. Personal favorite is "diplomatic immunity". Be sure to order the chips - thin and delicious! This bar deserves their spot in Asia's Top 50.
