★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was really surprised and impressed by the quality of this CKT.
Happened to chance upon this stall and decided to give it a try. It didn’t disappoint.
It was still very favourful and wet even after 20mins, after I tabao home. The ingredients for $4 was very generous and the taste was just right! Not too salty or sweet.
On the downside, you will have to wait if you want to try this CKT, but it’s worth it.
Good job to the young chef!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Liked the char kway teow which is not too sweet. Pity that my plate was not thoroughly hot (some parts were room temperature, some parts were hot). And yes, there’s a lack of “wok hey” but I give it to the younger generation for picking up the skill and cooking!

Kept putting the plastic plate on the wok surface even not scoping up the food. Doesn't look promising..
No wok hey. Very wet. Kway tiaw being stirred n chopped until very small fine pieces n no longer in one long piece.
Contain pork lard. A lot of fish cake. Very little Chinese sausage.
Worst among the 3 stalls of ckt in the food centre.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great to see young hawker taking his craft seriously. His Char Kway Teow was fried individually, for each Customer.
Good control of heat, and nice charred Wok Hei flavour...Mom said the cockles were generously added, and the dish was not oily at all. She would make me buy for her at 2pm for her dinner at 6pm, 2pm becos they close around then.
I seriously hope he would do well, and keep perfecting his craft. Tha ks for the awesome Char Kway Teow

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw new stall and helmed by young chap so gave it a try. Quite a decent plate with some wok hei, not too oily yet enough taste and sauce. But theres charred taste through the whole plate, maybe due to overfrying. will give it a try again next round to see if improved.

Chanced upon this stall seeing the son cooking. Is good to give young hawkers a try so they can carry on the trade.
On the food, the ckt is quite balanced, not too spicy/sweet/salty. The picture is $4 version with no cockles. Overall as still have some wok hei and pork lard in it, is quite good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried this fairly new ckt stall fried by a young chap. Wasn't disappointed at all. Taste is well balanced with wok hei. Love the crunchy pork lard too. Very good indeed. Even though there are 3 ckt stall in this hawker centre, I would recommend to give it a try if around the area. Never try never know.
