I had double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty 6 years ago with this doctor. From my experience, it was a mistake because the cut lines were symmetrical, and I had obvious scarring under my left eye and above the anterior side of my right eye - they look quite like deep wrinkles and made me insecure about how I looked. I believe the doctor's method was too aggressive, which is somewhat like the impression his attitude gave me. I was pretty young and soft-spoken at that time, he was not the right person to go to. Since then, I have sought revision with other doctors, and managed to fix the problems except for the scarring under my left eye.

Mistake of a lifetime to go to him for double eyelid stitching. One eye has a fold which is WAVY, and the other is too SHORT, and both eyes are UNEQUAL in height. Clearly not skilled at all, as the knots are buried too shallow under the skin so they appear as bumps on my skin. A few months post surgery, the stitches actually poked out so after removal my folds are next to nothing. Still wanted to charge me for repairs, and now recommended incision method because he misjudged that stitching would work. What a joke - if he cant even stitch, will u let him cut? Because of the way of the scarring and bumps on my skin, I cant even wear double eyelid tape as they bounce out. Looking in the mirror EVERY TIME makes me feel so DEPRESSED. Angry, disappointed, stressed with no recourse and may be even impossible to fix now that the scars have formed.

I had a very bad fall while abroad and came back to Singapore to seek medical treatment. Dr Marcus Wong was very skilled, meticulous and reassuring when treating my facial injuries and I am extremely grateful to him and his nurses for being such a godsend in my time of need. Will highly recommend him to others :)

Just got my Double Eyelid correction surgery and I got BEST case healing process thanks to a very experienced doctor with all the proper aftercare services! So much better than doing in Malaysia/Thailand/Taiwan. All my friends be jealous xD Also it's just completely healed and I've gotten so many compliments!! I also found out after that quite a few other friends of mine know about this place and had good experiences with their procedures too! Super thankful I got mine done here

I haven't been done by him but giving my reviews cos I met an auntie staff at Oriental hair solution and I commented that she looks very good and asked if she done any eyelid surgery before. She openly told me she did and her nose too and she said she done it with the famous Dr Wong at Rochor Centre years ago. I can't even tell she did a nose job and she looks so good at her age 60 yes old

Did dbl eyelid surgery + epicanthoplasty with Dr Wong SY about 10-12 years back and it was a terrible job done and till now i’m still feeling regretful of my bad decision made. The eyelids was uneven and epicanthoplasty was really bad and left a whitish scar that didn’t healed well and people often asked me if my eyes had some stuff that I didn’t clean properly. Not to mention, the stitch removal was extremely painful i was crying (still remember vividly!) I did went back to see Dr Wong about it and i was being brushed off by him that the results was great and whatever that was a concern to me, should not be a concern at all. Too bad i was young and naive at then who didn’t dared to make a fuss. Lived with the scar for 5 more years and finally took the courage to get a revision done at KOREA and that saved my self-confidence. Though the correction was not 100%, it improved about 50% which i was already grateful for. After the episode with this Wong clinic, i lost all confidence in Singapore’s plastic surgeons. Hopefully this clinic is better with their skills now as I certainly do not want anyone to go through what i went through! There are certainly way better surgeons! *Please also do not reply that the clinic do not have my records etc. I recognize Dr Wong face and i have made sure I reviewed at the right page. Please also know the importance of your job. The fact that your ex client can write this review 10 years later, it shows how traumatizing this surgery had done to my life.

Do not believe the hype. Years ago I went because in the forum many ladies were talking about this clinic, I have never regretted something so much in my life. after a decade, I am still being traumatised by the deep eyelid surgery scars dr wong gave me. I had depression and very super low self esteem. It affected my life and career (I was a model) throughout as the stares and questions people are giving me seemed judgemental. My eye look is damaged. Upon returning to the clinic crying after my surgery after 6 months, all they wanted was $400 + to do a follow up procedure. I had to leave in despair and then did a scar surgery with another doctor after a year and also other doctors in SG, a lot of subsiscion and lasers and fillers. Nothing worked. Permanent depressing scars on both side of my eyes, dr wong’s work has ruined my life, my esteem, burnt my money for so many treatments. I cannot lavish and enjoy the beauty of my 20s and 30s. Disheartened helpless babe in misery everyday. If you’re replying me and asking me to call you to clarify, what else do you still want from me? More fees like before??? Nothing can be done!!!

I am very surprised to see all the 1 star reviews as I did my eyelid surgery with Dr Wong 12 years ago - Jun 2010, and it was amazing! I went to him after knowing 2 very yim chim friends did their eyelids with him. A friend who saw me after the surgery also went to Dr Wong and her result was perfect. I include here my eyes before and after for your reference. No one has ever think my eyelid was artificially created and I am always proud to inform that they are not natural lol.
