★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The zi char is old school kind of nice, it’s hearty and not expensive but don’t expect very fine quality. Good for friends or family hang out in an old coffee shop ambience. I’ve been eating here for 30 years and witnessed the boss’s life journey. I wish he had gotten a more patient and polite wife who would be better at customer service. She’s nasty ?! Expect to wait at least 30 minutes.
There’s another stall that sells delicious hokkien fried noodles. A must-have when you are here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don't buy your kopi or teh from here. I've had many horrible experiences here. Very rude and impatient.
One of the uncles doesn't listen to your orders clearly and takes a long time to make drinks, which I can live with. But he expects you, the paying customer, to be extremely attentive whenever he talks, and to not be on your phone when he's ready to hand you your drink. Otherwise, he scolds you loudly or makes a snide comment about how you were on your phone when he wanted to handover the drinks, even though you're just clarifying which drink is which.
Don't enable this kind of customer service. You're better off buying your drinks from across the road. Much friendlier staff there.
