This place is a coffee shop which are crowded during lunch time and after 4pm as many customers are drinking beer. The seating inside is parallel and in rows so is very cram. They are many choice of foods and are reasonably priced and taste are good.

Best takeaway combination (for lunch): chicken curry and pork ribs prawn noodle. Chicken curry from: Ah Jie Fish Soup and Curry, 30 Foch Rd, Bistro 8 (coffeeshop), #01-02 (daily, 1030am—10pm). Delicious chicken curry, best with white bread, rice n noodle. Pork ribs prawn noodle (dry) from Ocean Prawn Noodle, 30 Foch Rd, Bistro 8 (coffeeshop), #01-02 (daily, 830am—930pm). This Bistro 8 coffeeshop at 30 Foch Road is a mini food haven.

Very good selections.. kickoff with Ngoh Hiang and Kok Kee Wanton Noodles, followed by Satay and Prawn Noodles. Turn the corner at Western food before seeing KL style Hokkien mee (Udon) and other TzeChar dishes. Drown the heat from the eating with drinks and beers which makes the name of the place.

Had takeaway from Lao Wang Kampong Bean Sprout Chicken Rice. The chicken was quite succulent and the side dishes of beansprouts, toufu (with century egg) and vegies complements the meal well. Also topped that with braised eggs and chicken liver. Overall a satisfying meal for the family!

Been patronising the chicken and char siew stall in the corner for awhile. The herbal cabbage soup is the best!!!! And the sio bak rice is affordable ($3.50) too. Support the hardworking uncle running this shop???
