β β β β β Had the Yogurt curry Chicken with Tomato Rice. It was nice and spicy. Chicken as tender and well marinated in the spices. Tomato rice could have been more flavored. Oh and I must say, the Acar, damn sedap!
Also had the handmade spicy noodles. My wife said it reminded her off sabah konlau mee.
Overall the food was satisfying and you know they take pride in what they serve up.
My next visit I am already eyeing the Roti Jala with Keema Curry.

β β β β β Over-priced food and beverages that are at best only average in taste.
Kitchen staff not in sync with ordering system. Ordered 3 rice dishes today and waited half an hour only to be told that the 3rd item had to be changed to noodles due to insufficient rice because of unexpected huge lunch crowd. They also had to change the rice in the 2 dishes to some other type of rice. All these were communicated only when I went to collect the food. Waited another half an hour for a miserable bowl of noodles priced at $9.90. Will be my last visit for sure.

β β β β β It was raining cats & dogs during lunch hours today. I bumped into a colleague who just had lunch at the new cafe at my office block. So I decided to give it a try. Iβve ordered Shan Noodle after learning from the cashier that it is a street food from Myanmar (I wasnβt that adventurous normally, but the cafe was super packed & everything sold out except noodles). Shan Noodle is a simple yet comforting bowl of rice noodles served in chicken broth with a bit of tanginess, surprisingly quite appetising. Soup noodles is always a good choice for raining day & will come back to try other foods.

β β β β β We hv ordered Nasi Lemak (Malaysian style! It's full of flavour!), Yogurt Curry with Tomato Rice (nice Indian style curry chicken that served with Malay style tomato rice & a well blend fruits acar), a traditional Kaya Butter toast (close to the best charcoal grilled toast that I used to hv in Penang!), kopi o & teh peng (nothing beat a nice cup of teh peng in a hot day!!). Staffs were friendly, the environment was nice & comfortable. This is a place worth visit with colleagues for lunch or with clients for a meeting over traditional kopi & teh.

β β β β β Delicious! We tried the turmeric chicken blue pea rice, bbq hainanese chicken rice, and yoghurt chicken curry rice. Flavourful, spicy, and aesthetically pleasing. The achar was yummy too. Will definitely be back :)

β β β β β What a surprised tea break at a nicely done up local coffee shop :) I had a very good Marble Cake & a nice cup of Ice Teh. It was so good that I continued to order a steamed bread & a traditional toast. I guessed no dinner for me tonight. I'll be back to try out other dish!

β β β β β I used to visit this cafe when they were at Robinson Centre & I was told by the security officer that they hv moved out during my last visit several months ago. I was thrilled when I saw the cafe at one-north. U should try the Handshredded Noodles as it's a unique yet simple bowl of noodle. I like the springy & chewy texture as I was told that it was made of tapioca flour. The soup broth has a tint of tanginess, mild spiciness & to me the overall flavour was just nice. My friend had Lemongrass Chicken with Mango Acar. The chicken was tender & the lemongrass sauce was good. She found the Mango Acar something unique. It looks like chutney but with Peranakan flavours. Overall: good food, friendly staffs & nice atmosphere.

β β β β β Ordered the yogurt curry chicken with tomato rice. Actually I tasted the rice by itself, there's no tomato or any other flavour. It feels just like plain white rice. The chicken was good, soft and tender. Curry was flavoursome too. Achar was refreshing and nice. Overall I really enjoyed the meal in this cafe and will consider this as an occasional treat to myself.
