Sep 2019. Horribly rude cooking staff. Whipped out a mee siam which looked disgustingly oily. I could not imagine a local brand presenting a dish like this to foreign visitors. Gravy was not hot and tasted like plum juice, and bee hoon was not cooked. I did a return and wouldn't come back again for this dish. I also hoped someone would look into the hygiene practice of the stall. Cooking gloves had been put on, handling everything outside cooking. Duh!

Popular with airport staff and local travellers so the que can be fairly long in the morning peak hours. Do note that this is a franchise by an airport F&B consortium so it’s ‘linked’ to the porridge shop next door, although they place a divider between the 2 outlets you can use the tables on the porridge side if ya Kun is full. Bulletproof coffee available.

This was the best call , just the the taste of the butter is well worth it.I got the tea it was delicious. Mind you this isnt a filling hearty meal but a great snack.to hold you over. Just remember they give you toast with runny egg in a cup. I really didnt know how it was eaten. But I would do my toast in the egg and sip my tea.

Good toast and coffee. I tried several items: 1. Kaya butter toast - The toast is very crispy. The kaya and butter blends well together — the kaya giving the sweetness and the butter giving the saltiness to the bread. 2. Tuna toast - The bread pocket is stuffed with tuna mayo and cucumber. Very good if you prefer something savory. Other than the toasts, they have the soft boiled egg and teh/kopi to go along as a set. Do expect some wait for ordering as well as for the toast.

I get excited whenever we have a layover at Changi Airport as we make it a point to order from here. Love their Kaya toast with soft boiled egg and their coffee. One time, I was one of the last remaining passengers to go through security check prior to boarding because I had to get my kaya toast and coffee fix on a mere 50 minute layover. Was well worth it!

The steam kaya toast has always been my favorite and the quality has been consistent throughout.

Staff is very friendly Used to like the tea n toast, but now the toast made too thin n toast like chipalike. Personally prefer not so toast where still can have the roti moisture

The Yakun Coffee maker bloody rude, wanted to make sure i took the correct drink instead of taking others & double check if the order was right. She replied “you cannot use your eyes & see only got one drink?” Yakun, please do something about your staffs’ manners
