★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Light and pleasant prawn mee at a really good price ($3). Good proportion of noodle and toppings (prawn, pork, fish cake, chilli, bean sprouts). My Merdeka generation mum thinks it’s nostalgic. I like the chilli!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sorry their signboard say "Ya Kun" prawn noodles - and I think for those of 'us' who are 57 and above remember the good old days - the taste of Prawn Noodles back than... this is it! (Or at least that's what everyone I know says so... and I agree!) Morning breakfast ... go late and they will run out of kuay-tiew.. Don't forget to ask the Aunty for more chilli!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is maybe the most delicious prawn noodles you can find in Singapore - the soup is very unique in its taste. Many regulars travel there even quite a distance to enjoy their breakfast in the morning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came to 89 machperson hawker centre and food market for breakfast and was spoilt for choices. Decided to given this prawn noodle stall a try. This stall is managed by a pair of elderly aunties. A bowl of prawn noodle starts from SGD$3 onwards. They served both soup and dry version. There were already a queue when i was there. The stall was runned by a pair of elderly aunties.
Had the dry prawn noodle, opted for the yellow noodle with kway teow. Have to say that it was a solid bowl of prawn noodle that has the 古早味. The chili sauce packs a punch. Soup was light with a strong prawn aroma. Wouldnt say its the best prawn noodle but good enough for me to come back again!
