★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good yakitori coupled with pretty tasty sides and mains as well. Highly recommend the salted squid fries, chicken liver, chicken tail (bonjiri) as well as the chicken porridge(can serve 2-3, we accidentally ordered two portions, a little too much!) there is a dining time limit so do order early as they are freshly grilled. The staff were friendly and welcoming and made the experience all the more enjoyable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pity that most of the chicken-variety skewers are not available due to the recent fresh chicken export bans. But nonetheless, the rest of the menu is still being offered and on point. Don’t miss the chicken porridge, it really warms the stomach and gives a homely feels. We didn’t try the omakase, but ordered individual skewers. The meats and vegetables are all fresh, and they weren’t burnt when served. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yummy food, wide selection of drinks and great atmosphere to hang out! Lively yet private with curtains segmenting the seats! The idea of picking our own sake cup was v cute! Only thing is, i think the servers should be more covid conscious. They placed a wrong order of 3 sticks of yakitori unto our common plate and when they came back a min later, they took it and served it to another table after we highlighted to them that its not our order.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Favourites: tail, gizzard, thigh, wings, shiso pork, tomato. Grilled rice was nice but one was enough for 2 of us to share. Porridge was a good way to wash down the grease. Overall everything was really delicious and the service was also prompt and friendly. If I have to quibble, the food was on the saltier side - maybe to make u order a few more drinks :p

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food but they don’t let you in earlier though it was a very humid and hot day for the 6pm slot. They have two locations within the vicinity so there was enough seating space. Comfortably air conditioned, good service and awesome food! The soup porridge and the skewers were delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pros: Friendly wait staff and good recommendation of sake. The coriander salad blew us away, so simple yet so delicious. Clam soup was amazing too with an umami broth. The skewers are served as and when and was very yummy in general.
Cons: We found some of the skewers a little too salty for our liking. Chef had his mask down towards the end of the service

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the experience at Yakitori Yatagarasu and definitely understand why many say that it’s worth visiting. We ordered a mix of chicken and pork belly skewers and felt that overall, the chicken was the highlight. We especially enjoyed the chicken tail and loved how juicy it was. Definitely coming back here once we manage to get a booking!
