β β β β β Food was good
Rice were a little too tough
Surcharges on 5th day of Chinese lunar new year
2employees were talking to each other across our table over why one sat and took our order at that table in Cantonese.
Felt that they lack of respect for customers.

β β β β β The food are good and affordable compared to other similar eateries. The platting of the food is amazing. There are rarely places took so much effort to decorate the food before serving. The food taste great too best to try the curry fish Claypot, chai pu tofu, deep fried sated egg sotong.

β β β β β This zichar joint is constantly busy throughout the weekend and itβs unsurprising. Each dish on their set menu was delicious and we found the prices very reasonable. Our party of 5 had 3 fresh crabs, 1 meat, 1 toufu and 2 vegetables. The restaurant kindly throws in rice, mantous and ice cream as complimentary items!

β β β β β Restaurant is located in Toa Payoh Lor 7. It serves a good range of food and they are reasonably priced. Worth visiting and would like to try their chili crab and sea cucumber on my next visit.

β β β β β Was here years ago and thought the food was meh. But not last night. The taste, quality and food portions of the dishes exceeded our expectations. Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. (We had hotplate tofu and claypot noodles). The excellent food and reasonable pricing probably explains why the coffeeshop where Yi Jia is was so crowded last night with barely an empty table in sight despite it being almost 10pm.

β β β β β First time trying this place as read from some reviews that it is not bad.
Family of 4, we ordered:
1. Medium Fish Head Steamboat
- Grouper fish
2. 3 Cups Claypot Basil Chicken
3. Black pepper Venison
4. Kung-fu Pork
5. 3 egg Spinach
6. Claypot Tofu
7. E- Mian small
Overall, we find it's nothing to shout about.
1. Soup was tasty, lots of fish and vegetables
2. Chicken was dry, hard and somehow not flavourful
3. Venison was tender, little spicy with the black pepper.
4. Pork was dry, little overfried and hard
5. Spinach was drowning in gravy
6. Tofu normal
7. E- mian for small portion was quite decent, with lots of vegetable stem and fish cake slices with some slices of pork with 3 prawns.
