★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The one & only prawn noodles stall in Circuit Road Food Center serving night owls till 4am. Last order 3:30am. Noodles tend to be a bit overcooked at times. Overall acceptable & tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food taste wise was good. However, paying additional $1 for extra noodle and only was added less then a mouth of it comparing to my friend’s normal bowl of prawn noodle it’s a bit of scamming. Was also rejected and laughed at by the store owner to have the soup refilled and also offered to pay extra for the soup but got rejected. Soup was given only about less then 3/4 of a super small bowl for the dry noodle bowl version. Very petty of the owner for saving cost.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This review is almost 2 months late but better late than never. When I was a teenager, I used to frequent Yong Seng Heng (YSH) Prawn Noodle stall. Nothing fancy but a true authentic prawn noodles with yummy prawn soup! I moved to the USA for over 20 years now, but every time when I’m home visiting my family, I’ll definitely stop over for a bowl of dry mee pok prawn noodles (Yum!). I saw reviews of people complaining about rude services and getting extra charge for noodles. I was appalled! Come on, Singaporean! How dirt cheap can you be??? The stall hardly increase their prices since I left Singapore 20+ years ago. If you eat two bowls, it's still cheaper than some air conditioned food courts in Singapore. Do you know there’s mainly 2 options to pick from most businesses - Cheap, Fast or Quality. Count with your fingers how many businesses have all 3 options? YSH has all 3 from my view. It’s cheap, fast and true prawn noodles. The broth is simmered for hours in pork bones and prawn heads, but they only cook a limited amount. I only knew this bit by bit from going to the stall since I was a teenager. You shouldn’t expect the owners to be service oriented if you already has CHEAP, FAST, GOOD QUALITY PRAWN MEE + REAL PRAWN BROTH. If you do expect good service, you should definitely visit restaurants that charge you 10% for services and 7% for GST. I can’t wait for 2020 for my next bowl of $3/$4/$5 mee pok dry prawn noodles when I’m home!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent old school prawn noodle which has a light tasting prawn and pork broth with a tint of sweetness. This is the typw of soup that you can safely drink the whole bowl without feeling thirsty.
