★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Many years ago this hawker used to have lots of vegeterian food choices. Was always there for their vegetarian western food. Good to see that there are more of a mixed selection of food now. For people who drives there are some parking lots in front of the hawker centre at Block 79A. Although not all the stalls are open, there are some fairly reasonable priced, good dinner options available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A short walk across the bridge of a large canal from Mattar mrt station exit B.
At least half of the foodstalls are closed in the evening. Price is fairly expensive for a non air conditioned hawker centre. Food is average.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Coming here is like taking a step back in time. Deep in the bowels of the heartlands of low rise public housing where the silver generation reigns supreme. Even the parking lot design (slanted) is old school. Everything here screams old school. I'd come back for a hint of nostalgia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the dong dong prawn noodles and the white carrot cake(the one beside the dessert shop) both really nice. I ask for extra Chili for white carrot. Yummy ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This stall Wanton Noodle overall is great after taken. The noodle mixed well with the black sauce but best of ALL are the wantons or dumplings. They are chewy, firm and rich after biting. Firm and full of sweetness from the meat mixture. A 70~80s of taste.. You can try dumplings mixed with chilli and black sauce. IT tastes great if you are chilli eater...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hakka yong tau foo is highly recommended. I think it opens very early and by 10am, you are left with not many choices. The soup is sweet with using natural ingredients. The meat ball is really nice. The noodles with minced meat coat $2 but very worth as it is a big bunch.
