β β β β β Came for my lunch and the staff was amazing! The cashier (Rowen , if im not wrong) was really friendly and gave me the extra service when i asked what would he recommend and whatβs the most worth from the menu. In the end, i got Katsu Curry Rice and it was delicious, also to point out that i waited for only 5 minutes for my order to come. I would recommend to eat here with their great service, cleanliness and amazing staffs!

β β β β β The kids meal is very good! Rice and salmon is very delicious and the Milo was very good. however, can make the Milo not paper straw because I have a hard time drinking it. Corn was a bit cold. The happy faces tastes like potatoes.

β β β β β The food is nice, the service a bit disappointed. The whole dining room was served by one person. Many customers turned away for waiting too long at the door. When in need, no one around to serve, the waiter is always busy. He the only one that is cashier, take order, clean table, and escort new customers to their table. As the kitchen work, if not wrong, are only 1 person as well...

β β β β β My husband helped me to takeaway a fish burger and it still tasted nice after 30mins! ??? The box packaging is much better & atas than the old wrapper style!

β β β β β First time in Yoshinoya. Was rather underwhelming as a friend told me this chain is very nice and popular in Japan.
Maybe the quality not consistent anymore? But besides that, itβs a decent affordable meal. Nothing extraordinary.

β β β β β I ordered the beef bowl in large size and it came on the same size as the regular and was charged 2.50 extra. The beef was decent but the rice had almost no flavour. The best part of my meal was the ebi sides that I ordered along with it. Miso soup is also dilute. Would not recommend.

β β β β β To be honest, Yoshinoya was not what I had in mind when I was finding a place to eat. However, every other restaurant seemed to have queue. Yoshinoya on the other hand, was not crowded even though it was close to dinner time.
They had a student meal for $8, which came with the beef and rice, miso soup and a drink. I would say that the dish was pretty tasty. These beef dons are usually pretty pricey at other places so it was considered a steal here.
I would say that Yoshinoya has greatly improved over the years. The last time I had it was years ago when it still had its old branding. It is definitely not exceptional in any way, but it is something that will fill you up. It will also not hurt your wallet as the prices are pretty reasonable.
